Horrible support service
I lost almost 100 pounds by these guys. I made a payment on exactly account number which I get from a private medical clinic. After month I realise money didn’t came on a right account. Double check everything and all was right. I send a message to a support and was speak with them few times. They told me my they send already rejection to a bank where is my money and they will let me know about a status of this. That was in a January and nobody text to me from then. Today I asked again about my transaction and they told me bank respond only like “transaction are complete”. When I told them their service is not on a right level and they should inform me long time ago, some service guy just answer in a rude way “You send Your money on a wrong account”. That’s how I losted my money. I quit from a app and never again try use their poor service. Not recommended at all.

Remitly preferred
I have been using Remitly for a long time now so far I haven’t had any scams any problems of that sort. I have sent money from USA to Nigeria, Zambia, Dominican republic, Pakistan, etc. The problems that I have had I have been able to contact customer service 24 seven through Chat or phone. One instance I sent the money to the wrong bank. They said it would take up to a week, but the problem was solved right away, I did keep calling and chatting with them, and letting them know my concern an urgency. I have a current issue now, but the problem is the bank has received the money for the recipient and they are the problem right now but Remitly has done their work so far. I am very happy with the customer, service and support. I have tried other apps and services in town and so far this is my preferred. The most I have sent is $2000. I sometimes have not been easy on the customer service when I have an issue but we always end up working it out and I appreciate that. I appreciate their customer service. Thank you. God Bless.

Rubbish customer service
Don’t waste your time downloading this app. The customer service is the worst. My first transaction got stuck and it was on hold for nearly a day while all the required documents were provided already. Contacted the customer service and spoke with 3 different people and still no solution. All of them came up with excuses. Even they were rude! Not recommended at all. Use other money transfer and your money will be transferred within minutes.

Disgraceful and rude customer service
I have always used world remit but recently they have become impossible to send money with. So I decided to try using Remitly. I signed up and I tried to send a small amount of money to my fiancée in Kenya. It was blocked and when I tried to login again I was informed my account was suspended. I’ve just got off a live chat and I feel like I’ve been branded or treated like a common criminal. After talking to someone for a while I got put through to the customer protection team, I was told by a guy called Roberto that he would look into my account and inform me what was wrong. But no, all he did was basically tell me that my transaction was reviewed and that they thought it was fraudulent or words to that effect and he told me in no uncertain terms that I was a criminal or scammer and he closed the chat without me being able to ask why. It was so rude and to brand someone like this when all I was trying to do was make use of the very services they provide. I am baffled, although I can hazard a good guess as to why, trying to send money to Kenya or Africa in general is terrible but we cannot all be branded as criminals. I am though, from Ireland. I’m appalled at being treated like this and Remitly should be ashamed of themselves for letting their employees talk to customers this way. Avoid at all costs, unless you want to be branded some type of scammer/fraudster.
