  • Worst Banking App Ever

    Flash deposit is nowhere to be found on this app. It gives you the FAQ’s regarding Flash Deposit but there is no means of getting to it. Why?!?! Also why must this app be so very user un-friendly. Very disappointing, very frustrating and if I could rate this even lower than a single star I would. Cadence you need to step up & get up to speed with other banks. Also Pop Money is positively vile. There is no reason whatsoever in this day and age that instant money transfers should be so difficult to do. Zelle, Venmo & PayPal do this seamlessly... There is no reason Pop Money should be so unreliable.

  • Bad App

    As far as bank apps go, it’s the worst I’ve ever used. Unstable and crashes often.
  • Mobile Deposit does not work

  • Crashes all the time

    For check deposit It works flawlessly only on very few occasions. You scan the front of the check, it kicks you out of the app. Or, you even managed to scan both sides, the screen just goes white. I have reinstalled, same issue. When there is an issue with the check, such as you accidentally try and deposit the same check twice, the error message disappears before you can even read it. I’m about to change banks if this does not improve. I spent an hour by now trying to deposit one check.

  • App has too many bugs “now”

    It has been several months now that I’ve been experiencing issues with the Mobil App. I’ve used it since it came out and always loved it but now it’s just a complete pain. I’ve had to disable Face ID as if I turn it on it locks me out completely due to failed attempts. Also the App just closes back to splash page on me every time I use it needing to log in again and again and again just to do simplest thing as transfer some money from one account to another. Yes I’ve spoke with customer service with no improvement. Someone please fix these bugs and give us back the App we deserve.

  • Worst Bank Ever

    They were merged with State Bank ( awesome bank) about 6 month ago, since that time it’s just one stupid thing after another.
    1. Their debit cards are by Discover which IS NOT accepted everywhere. It’s 2019, why would you give us a debit card that’s not universally accepted.
    2. When you use the bill pay service, if they mail a check for you, they take the money from your account immediately even though the payee hasn’t cashed the check. What?!
    3. If there is a problem with your accounts they send a message to you on their website...not to the app that everyone uses. So how would I know there was a message?? The whole reason for having an app is so you don’t have to go to a cumbersome web site. So stupid!
    4. If you ever change anything about an existing account they try to hit you with monthly services charges. I can list 5 banks that don’t have services charges.
    5. They are not the leaders in anything. It’s like dealing with a bank stuck in 2008.
    6. If you went through the merger of Cadence and State Bank you know how awful it was. Accounts were messed up, bills didn’t get paid etc. it’s was anything but seamless. They were totally unprofessional and unprepared. It was a joke.
    7. Do yourself a favor and pick another bank that has a customer focused attitude. You can’t spell Cadence without cad

  • Frustrating

    Whatever changed with making mobile deposits is NOT working!! When I take photos of the check to deposit it says I need a darker background or better lighting. I have actually taken the check OUTSIDE in the sun with a black paper background and it will not deposit. I have called and I have had to drive 30 minutes to our local branch to make deposits. I already complained and at my wits end. I am about to just drop Cadence altogether, this is so frustrating!!

  • Difficult and buggy

    Will not let me log in with Face ID. Says too many failed attempts (although it says too many failed fingerprint attempts, which clearly shows it’s not been well tested and vetted). Also is not that easy to use. Just check out the workflow of a major banks app and get some ideas there!

    I can’t sign in or deposit a check, again. So over this app!
  • Awful App, Comedy of Erros

    The transition from the State Bank app to the Cadence bank app has been time consuming, with never ending issues made more difficult by bugs with this app. To make matters worse, the call center is just worthless.
