Poor customer service and never any feed back
Poor customer services , funds where taken asked for refund . Told they will chase funds for me and that receiving bank needs to get back to them? Nearly two years now ??? No refunded £190 ,then sending me charges ?? You Pay to pay in and charged for everything? including £2 every cash point withdrawal and £2 every top up So if you went cash point 10 x a month = £20 plus your too up fees I have now switched to Monzo online bank. You will just get excuses with customer services nothing more told they will call you ( never once had a call back in two years nearly so guessing thats trollop too . Sham bank Poor service and customer retention Cash cow business avoid like the plaque No good if you wanna budget ( cheap in the trial period) then they got you Ask operator for a manager supervisor ( never anyone available ?? ? Terrible will be closing account and moving to another provider charged for everything put money in they take it out , PLEASE check charges after trial period nothing but sponges for your money !!! Avoid like the plaque ( hidden charges ) Charges i could of put up with , but losing £190 in todays economy tough Avoid avoid avoid please save your money very unprofessional All pro comments are from the trial period i promise ( i thought it was great untill i seen the managment side of the business)

Amazing and quick set up, no hidden or fake charges of any kind. Card arrived as promised by Cashplus and was able to activate and use account/card within moments. Overall they are a brilliant company who are here to genuinely help you. Yes we pay a small fee for the account but they definitely make it worth your while as also promised by Cashplus. They have already help my credit score by little yes. It I have only been a customer and using the accounts over the past week and it has managed to already make a difference so I would most DEFINITELY RECOMMEND CASHPLUS as the most reliable and trustworthy online banking service that has its customers at top priority not there own. Never had any issues and there is no way for Cashplus to damage or make your credit or banking account any worse they can and have proven to help its customers with dedicated staff members and I have already changed over nearly everything to Cashplus and fully intend on staying with the bank and leaving and shutting down all other accounts because they are the best bankings services I have seen and I can only in courage EVERYONE to apply and change your banking accounts to CASHPLUS 💯👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻

Poor poor service
To be fair the app is ok . But everything else from cash plus is terrible . They allowed money to leave my business account to an account which I put in a digit a short . That was over 4 months ago and still they haven’t gotten it back . They have no recall faculty and I co tubular get told their waiting in an update . £3500 left my account to an account which didn’t exist as the account was a digit short . They offered £50 in compensation . Every time I call they tell me it’s processing or it’s awaiting an update . 4 months still don’t have my money back. their have no idea and you can’t talk to customer services nor a manager . No one what’s to do their job and deal with this . Avoid them at all costs

Don’t Bother
It’s a real bank…… loads of emails telling you they are now a real bank but they are missing so much.
The call centre seems to be manned by staff who share the occasional brain cell but before you get to speak to them they torture you with the hold music that must have been chosen to punish anyone who has the audacity to actually call them for help.
They be as good as all the rest of the online only financial institutions, I truthfully don’t know but the hold music is enough to make you hesitant to call them and I am sure the staff look for any excuse to put you on hold if you ask a question where they need to use the shared brain cell.
I had a new account and part of the security checks was a question on what Direct Debits if any was set up.
I explained that it was new and I had not done anything at that point but then remembered my card terminal supplier may have setup their DD mandate so mentioned that, but because I had not told the idiot that when first asked he froze my account.
No common sense, no opportunity to talk to a supervisor, just a terrible experience of a call centre that totally removes any convenience benefits of having an account with them.
I can not explain just how poor the experience was.
All I wanted to do was change the email address on my account and because it did not reference my name they would not let me do it.
Completely ridiculous and pathetic.

Very easy to manage, never have problems, very happy with the service.
Cash plus over view
I must be honest hearing such a negative review is surprising. There security it so tight an customer service is so helpful. I had a few issues with re gaining access and after loosing the ac from being dormant for so long they couldn’t do enough to help me open a new one an in-fact refunded all late payment fees to my new ac. They didn’t have to do this as it was my fault. But they didn’t want me opening a ac an it having a zero balance. Only thing I will say is I lost my overdraft an I felt that they could of transferred that . Yes it’s invite only but I. I these things can be overrode when needed.
I could of gone to so many other online banks as there’s a ton to choose from but I have always found that cash plus have an amazing customer services an always go above an beyond for there customers. GOTTA LOVE CASH PLUS

AMAZING
no issues with the app what so ever been with this bank months now any issues solved within 24 hours quick card delivery quick payments in and out the app looks amazing. Great products and the fees ain’t that much! Just the direct debit rejection fee of £10 bit to high sometimes I do forget and the dates land before payday but besides that I’d prefer these lot over many high street banks. Just need to add faster payments in so it’s instant! At the moment it takes 20-35 minutes for me which isn’t a big deal but will be nice to see. Many other competitors have instant!

Very expensive - too big for their boots!
It’s the hidden charges that make this the most expensive of my banking services. No ‘free’ load facilities, I.e. pay cash in at a Post Office and you are charged a colossal £2 after the first £0 allowance. In other words, they charge as soon as you pay in. Also I decided to operate a project and required an overdraft. Before Cashplus became a bank, this was an affordable £45 per month. Now it is in excess of £95 per month!!! I have 2 accounts with them and have been scammed on 1 of them. They do not have the facility to bar payments to the scammers, so they suggest I close the account and open another. Good idea! I am going to close the account and open another with another bank. They seem to be too big for their boots!

Can’t click on “make payment”
Second time writing the review. The process has been fairly straightforward up until this point. Today I have gone to make a first payment to our contractors and none of the “make payment” options under the section are tappable. Only direct debits is tappable. This is very frustrating and not great for a challenger. The tech should be flawless. App is up to date and using an iPhone 12 Pro Max. Sort it out quick guys!
Update. Logged in to computer and it says card needs to be activated. It’s been over a month but no card by the looks of it. Will chase up but needs to be clear on mobile that this was the case!
