Huge bug
I’ve used this app for about 3 years and have loved it for the most part ... after the latest update I’ve found a HUGE bug for my uses in the app. The categories I added in the app have all been erased and even though I went back and added them in again, it won’t let me save my receipts under the added categories. This is a major problem since I’ve been using categories for tax purposes the past years and this messes with my system.
Please fix this bug so I can add more stars back for this app

Used to be great
I loved this app very much, so I did subscription for over a year, and I just renewed for second year. Starting early March 2018, it had an issue with saving the receipt. Around mid March, all my data for whole month disappeared. Here and there, it seemed to have saved, but couple days later, they are gone, too. I thought it might have something to do with IPhone “This accessory may not...” issue, but even after that was solved, Foreceipt’s disappearing act continued, and their reply of “don’t forget to hit the save button” made me regret renewing the subscription. Love it so far!
Had to go back and enter 2 years of receipts, which was taking forever, but after we got this, done in less than a day! A little learning curve, for example, if you don’t like the red box that pops up when you are scanning, you can unclick the yellow box at the top once camera appears. I haven’t figured out how to make this the default option, but I’m guessing it’s in there. Just figured how how to change default categories using “more”, and that’s helped with speed. :)Show lessLiz&jacks mom

Got the pro version, defiantly has the features I was looking for to keep my receipts organized. I just wish it would crash a little less, crashed about 4 times in 3 hours of use. Customer service was also quick to respond to few of my questions, so that’s a plus.

Mostly what I'm looking for
I take budgeting seriously, this app has what I've been looking for; avoiding the automation that some apps claim makes it easy that I think makes me lazy and out of the loop of my finances. The level of settings that can be tweaked is very nice. Good overall appearance.
My only complaint is the widget isn't customizable. I would much rather have quick access buttons for + Add Income and + Add Expense instead of showing balancesShow lesssd.derek
Almost perfect receipt scanning solution
Does a great job of identifying and auto cropping receipt scans. Is able to handle long receipts. Does a great job of recognizing the stores and amounts and dates. Super impressed. If only it could read individual items on the receipt, this app would probably be the most perfect app out there. Right now, although you can scan, there is still some leg work in tagging the receipt with anything you’d like to search or track. Like I said, almost perfect.Show lessnrynn
Best receipt app I have found
I have been searching for a good receipt app to help track business expenses in case of an IRS audit. I have limited time and this app makes it easy to keep receipts. It automatically scans and enters all of the receipt information for me, so I do not have to type anything in at all. I simply scan the receipt, hit a button, and I’m done. Great App
Love the features the app has to offer. It’s perfect for what I was looking for, the ability to store receipts and have them synced up to google.
And it offers all that at a fraction of the price that other similar apps do, and if you want to try it out before you buy, it has a free option for up to 50 receipts which is plenty enough for a short business trip. All in all, love it.Show lessJoseph Ike
Makes me look like an organizing rockstar
I often send in reimbursement requests 3-6 months late because I HATE paperwork. But this app has made it easy and I love that it auto refills stores and categories for me. My biggest problem with the app comes with the sending the report. With added pictures the files become to big to send and I don't see a way to only send a few days at a time. I'm also trying to figure out how to only send certain days as my reports are for a certain amount not per a set of weeks or days. If these things where handled I would update to a 5 star.Show lessXlntchef

Ive been testing for a while. The receipt scanning is annoying because it will bug you about using it too much and it struggles with accuracy issues so editing is required nearly every time but overall i have been using manual entry. If im driving and in a pinch i will do a scan but for scanning i just let quick books self employed handle all that and let this app handle the saving to Google Drive for backup. Im an over the road driver and produce multiple receipts a day so having it yell at me about using it is kind of disturbing. It is a good tool to backup and categorize receipt data.Show lessRottenweiler

Updates 2017/11/07: Our latest app on App Store should scan your receipts better, faster and easier ------------------------------------- Thanks a lot for your feedback and really sorry for the inconvenience caused by the issues. We will work our best we could to improve the accuracy of the scans, however please keep in mind that the scan is completely done by the computers and you absolutely need to verify the result for sure, otherwise no body could offer this kind of price if human power need to involve the checking process. However there are a couple of ways to improve the accuracy: 1. Make the receipts flat as possible 2.Hold the phone (camera) steady as you press the button to take a picture 3.Use simple or black background to place the receipt on before capturing it If you found some of the receipts are not processed, simply because the internet connection is weak and you did not wait the upload process was finished, what you could do is to swipe the receipt to the left to re-scan it again. TO find the scanned receipts easily, please go to "Dashboard" and tap on "Scans" row to find all the receipts scanned recently. You could also add receipts manually from dashboard "+ Incomes" / "- Expenses" button if you want to.
