Lost my business phone number permanently and other issues

This was a total debacle. They lost my business number by setting it as a temp number for a number I was porting into my account. Instead of reinstating it they released it and couldn’t get it back. Imagine a phone company giving your number away.

Messages won’t clear when read!

This is supposed to be the leading app for VOIP service, and I have to use it for business. It doesn’t look very good that I experience major delays in receiving messages, but also in the messages clearing out once read. I also still have an echo with using the speaker. I have to offload the app, delete, then reupload. Extremely annoying. This service is double the cost of others, please rectify these issues.

Notifications won’t clear

I love most everything about this app, but I am so frustrated with notifications not clearing when text messages have been read. The only way to get rid of them is to delete the app and reinstall it. I have to do this (as suggested by customer service) several times a year and it’s ridiculous and should be an easy fix.

Uninstall and try again

How many times does one need to uninstall to make the app function all the time? Disconnects on outgoing calls. Caller records not populating. It’s a hassle!!

Horrible support. Flakey app. No 2FA

I’ve been using the system for 13 years, and recently the support has gone down the tubes. their overseas support is pretty much ignorant of the system, and hard to understand.
One of their reps destroyed my home and business phone system yesterday by incorrectly removing the extension that had been apparently duplicated but actually renamed by the system.
that extension was for my home phone so I lost my home voicemail and text messages. Then he deleted the wrong duplicate so I lost all of my message and voicemail history for 10 years for one of my two business.
You can never get a support manager on the phone for problems like this. i’ve been waiting five hours for a call but I don’t have hope.
I also found out that if you submit a trouble ticket from the webpage or the app, and you don’t wait until you receive a confirmation until you enter another different travel ticket, it will delete the first one. Or the first five. And they keep telling me it’s working fine don’t worry.
I went to set up two factor authentication and they still don’t have it, and the rep didn’t even seem to know what that was. what critical business applications day does not have to factor? The solution is to disable password reset but they didn’t even tell me that. The support is absolutely terrible.
The reason that the rep destroyed my phone system is that they have no undo of extension delete. This is because it was apparently programmed by a high-school kid, who didn’t know you never delete a critical business database record; you simply mark it inactive, or move it to a deleted table. likewise you don’t refer to extensions by a text string but by record ID so it can’t be corrupted, as happened to me.
on the plus side, it’s very cheap.

Frustratingly buggy

Compared to free options like google voice and others, this is incredibly painful and frustratingly buggy, slow, and needs a lot of work.

Unreliable at its best

When I first started using the app it worked great, then a couple months in it stopped giving me notifications. I was missing patient messages and calls even when I had the phone in my hand. They told me to update the app and it worked fine for a week and then it stopped giving notifications. It doesn’t even update my call list. I literally watch a call come through but unable to answer and the call list shows no missed call. It updates hours later or maybe even the next day. I’m looking for another service.

Fix the bugs

Every time I log out I have to completely delete the app because it still rings even though I’m not logged in. It’s annoying!
