Not sure why there are so many issues
We are currently having many issues with the system staying armed!

Never works in time to see who is at the door.
Door Bell doesn’t ring.
Customer service is really nonexistent.
Considering the price I pay, Vivint need to do much BETTER!!!!

Terrible since Telus take over
Cameras go offline, have to rebooted through APP, as we’re out of the country. Camera’s say their back online but they’re not synced to the APP & they are still showing images from days ago. Tech support couldn’t give me any phone number that will work from outside North America. The whole reason we have a system in the first place. We’re away 1 week & something always goes down.

Trying to cancel but no luck
The salesman came here he lied about the contract when my husband signed it. He had to pay double what he was told. Tried to cancel it multiple times the customer service on phone said we are cancelled but still haven’t send us the cancelled contact and it is still Charing us. And if we want out of the contract we have to payout the equipment. It’s been 5 years and they haven’t sent a person to do any maintenance. Our smoke detector went off and took forever to get in hold of customer service and all they told me was to reset it and they didn’t even send a person to inspect my device. App is trash always crash…overall not satisfy with the company.

Half the time it doesn’t work
I’ll lock my door and set the alarm, and it tells me the door is unlocked. It notifies me batteries are low in a device, so I replace them. But the app still says the batteries are low. The app used to work great, but it has gone steadily downhill.
App not good any more
App and service very poor since Telus took over. App used to be very good. Now I’m having to open and close app to be able to see my clips. Clips also do not always load or record videos.

Update 2 - still garbage! Nothing fixed or updated. Playback won’t work. Time to look for other security services!!
UPDATE what a lousy app!! It won’t play back. Basically can’t do anything on it other than watch real time. I thought it would improve and maybe it was a glitch but nope! Nothing works on the app and when it tries I just see a spinning wheel. Think it time to check out a different company! It seems like there is always something wrong. Playback is rarely available. Just gets frustrating!!

Camera stopped working when some one broke into my garage
Didn’t work when someone broke in
Frustrated
I tried to open VIVINT. My user name and password were entered then was asked for a verification code. It was to be sent to my email or in a text. Neither came after many tries. Then my wife indicated that she received a code while she was in VIVINT but it only showed for about 2 seconds. Multiple tries with me having to try a login each time and I finally got in. What is going on? Why would the code be sent to my wife and not me?
