Oops! Data couldn’t be read

This app is usually faultless however today (3 April) while I can login and see my account at the higher level it will not let me access the account itself to view transactions etc to allow me to do a transfer. I tried a number of times and have even deleted and downloaded again. There was partial success after this but while I could access the account it once again came back with the same message ‘Sorry, something went wrong, the data couldn’t be read because it isn’t in the correct format. ‘
I have since gained access via my MacBook but the app still no change on the app.

Not functional

This app is meant to help customers access their online banking easily but it’s not functional. When I go to any of my accounts to see the transactions I keep getting annoying alert saying something went wrong . I cannot see my transactions at all in the app so I have to login to online banking through a web browser to be able to see them. Also this has been the case for over 3 months now and I’m gonna close my account due to poor mobile app and go with another bank who have a good mobile app which is functional. You better fix these issues and release more updates to avoid losing customers.

Terrible

Every second time I go to login I get “Error something went wrong” and won’t be able to login. To go through any contact us to make a complaint I need my account number…which I can only get when I can login.

The app is also super clunky with how many clicks are required to be able to transfer money or make a payment. Go check out the ING app it’s far superior.

Only reason we have AMP was they gave us the best rate on the home loan, which now they plaster the net position at the top of the screen on the odd time I can login. I don’t need to be reminded of how much debt I’m in just tell me the funds available in saving/offset. Again go check out ING they were way better from interface to how everything functions.

Don’t bother

For a bank they’re main purpose is to manage transactions well this app sure as hell doesn’t make it easy. I’ve never had this much difficulty trying to log into an app and access my funds. The app works probably 1/10 of the time so if you can avoid it, look elsewhere. Can’t wait to move banks with an app that actually works!

Really hard to access overseas as well as multiple errors are filled throughout the app even in Australia. Useless in my opinion….

AMP strikes again…

Absolutely hopeless. This app and the bett3r app are full of bugs and endless issues every release. It drives me insane. When will AMP get it right? This latest release I can’t even transfer any money as it crashes every time as I go to hit transfer. Please don’t tell me to delete it and reinstall it. I’ve tried all the usual steps! Every-time I speak to customer service it’s a known issue and takes 3-6 months to resolve. Over it!

Terrible banking app

Every time you log onto the banking app you get an error message and the app shuts down. All I can see is a quick balance before you get booted off. Pretty inconvenient if you want to move money between accounts. Also why are there no lock and block facilities on the cards issued with saving’s accounts? Is AMP going to guarantee me against overseas fraud when I cannot block my card for international transactions? Will be looking for a better interest rate elsewhere, once found I will be moving as the app crashes are not worth the hassle.

CONSTANT PROBLEMS

I have reported to AMP countless times due to the constant outages. App crashes. Tells me the system is unavailable or has an error. It has an error more than it works leaving me unable to access my own money to transfer or pay bills. Ridiculous. Every time I speak with someone they say it is fixed and then sure enough it happens again. I have banked with several other banks and their apps far surpass this terrible one.

Constantly Struggling to Keep Budget Up to Date

I was so excited about this app and AMP’s budgeting service. But it doesn’t feed in properly for me anymore, and even when it did, the account that wasn’t loading was my actual AMP one? While the other banks did feed in. Go figure.
I’ve gone from checking this daily to barely checking at all thanks to this broken feature. A real shame as it was such a point of difference from my other banks.

Biggest disappointment ever.

This is an update on my previous review.
1. They removed the ability for you to make investment changes in the app. Very disappointing obviously this was making a lot of work for their teams in the back office and they decided to fix it.
You have to be logged in to the website to make investments changes now.
2. Their windows for you to view transactions is tiny. Again they are pushing you to their website.
3. You cannot see any detail on the transactions and everything is summarised - again a pretty poor app compared to the old one.
BIG Fail AMP. Your devs obviously listen to the company and toned down a very functional app.
If I could give you Zero stars I would.

Another poor attempt of a banking app

The prior version of the app was poorly done but was functional. The new app is absolutely dreadful. Having to be forced to update to such a poorly conceived piece of software I've had to delete it as it has no purpose other than to show a number and then multiple clicks and popups later you get to something that resembles the information that could have been done with one click.
Maybe the developer and product owner should get a CommBank account and see how a banking app should be designed.
