Great VPN
I have never had any problems with this VPN since purchasing it 8 months ago. Works on all my devices. I had PC MATIC for years so all I had to do was load different security software (For Free). So now I’m good to go on all 9 of my devices and that includes Firesticks. You can add it directly into your router if you know how or just add to each device. Also if you know how to access your router, you can make changes and speed it up. You ISP will keep you throttled down on speed but you can make simple changes to By-Pass it. IP VANISH may cost more, but I did some research before selecting them.

Update problem
Everything was fine......until the latest update, now it loads up frozen. Can’t even send a message via the app. Reboot didn’t help.
RECEIVED EMAIL ADVICE FROM DEVELOPER. My reply to them was:
“I thought of that (live chat) but the app was frozen.
I tried rebooting my iPad but that didn’t work so I found
by turning the app on through the iPad settings I could
start the app. However every few minutes it dropped out
and asked me to book in.
I eventually deleted the app and reinstalled it. The app now
works fine again.”

Suggest to anyone having problems with app to reinstall it.

It’s worth taking the time to find & use some of the advanced options. Many reviews here stating poor connection issues on iPhone.
I’ve used IPVanish on my iPhone with the IKEv2 protocol together with settings>advanced>on demand>connect on demand (enabled) & haven’t experienced any VPN disconnection issues at any point in the last 11 months. On iPhone, due to how iOS functions, there isn’t a ‘kill switch’ option so use the on demand option instead.
A fair review of a product shouldn’t be a rant based on the fact you don’t know how to use it properly.

Disappointing
Doesn’t deliver on its promise of providing unmarked vpn access to popular countries; the footprint across countries is small and relatively limited

Love the cross platform service. It’s working awesome! Pretty fast servers in my area. Occasionally I see drop in speed when the servers get loaded. Just pick another one manually and that’ll usually fix it. They seem to be scaling up as they grow. I notice more servers to choose from every few months.
What really matters... Are they doing what they claim? Not keeping logs, not selling your data, protecting your traffic. I hope they invest in having their own servers, doing audits on the servers they lease etc. If they ever screw up one hopes they fess up immediately. You’ll keep my business if you fallow good security practices.

User Beware!
I went to the IPVanish website and was directed to the Apple App Store to download the app, and was under the impression it was free (there is no price listed next to the app in the AppStore). Now I see on my bank statement that I have been charged $10 a month for the past 3 months! I contacted Support through IPVanish and they informed me that they could not issue any refunds if I went through the App Store to download the app (which is the only way you CAN download an app on an iPhone!). I checked my apple store receipts to show proof that I may have unknowingly purchased a subscription and there is NOTHING listed for the past 3 months, and no active subscriptions! So Apple support is unable to help me and process a refund, and IPVanish is refusing to help with a refund as well. So frustrating! This is false advertising and VERY misleading!

Great desktop & MOBILE!
The only complaint I have is that I only was able to understand what makes this vpn great after a friend told me about it. Norton and proton and many other inferior vpns will come up in best vpn google search before IPV so just be sure to ignore the BS fake/lower quality ones that you will likely encounter before you find this one. Big bro doesn’t like it when you find a good one so just remember that when you try to ask google what to do in order to remain anon while online. Thanks ipv!!! First time I’ve even taken 5 mins to set aside to write a review.
