  • Have to remove item from sandwiches?

    Usually I love this app and the rewards. However, this is my first time using the mobile order and it will not let me continue without selecting something to remove from the meal even thought I don’t want to take anything off. Honestly quite frustrating...
  • Cumbersome App Makes Ordering Difficult

    We decided to try the new Schlotzky’s in town now that the hubbub has died down a bit. I have three boys and figured placing an order through the app would make things easier. Also, free promo sandwich, awesome! Instead, I spent a half hour putting together an order, only to have the cart not save. So instead, my husband is going to the restaurant to order so they can hem and haw over the menu there. I am getting a caprese sandwich, but since you can’t really see the pics in the app, I don’t have a clue whether the cheese is shredded or sliced. Online ordering can be a huge convenience for larger families, but this app just isn’t there yet.

    ETA: Caprese sandwich was life changingly good. Go with that level of awesome when retooling your app please!

  • Game doesn’t work

    Update: game gone now. The little bonus perks were the only reason I kept the app at all. The good news is I can free up space on my phone now and delete the app. I’ll just download it once a year when I might actually use it. Schlotzsky’s is really my least favorite deli anyway. I’m not a fan of the airy toasted bread and the tiny shrivel of cheese also toasted onto the sandwich which is a good excuse for them to use far less of it. The little perks were what kept me coming back. Now that those were taken away I’m out.

    I liked the old game. At least once a year I would earn enough points for a sandwich. Now it says the game is no longer available even though it’s still there in the app. The app won’t let you select a default location. It’s just a really poorly designed app

  • Best App & Best Rewards!

    Honestly, besides the fact that I love Schlotzskys, it amazes me at how awesome this app works. Love the updates and the look of the new app! You always get updated on the newest deals and rewards! I always give in when they have a good deal going on! Definitely a must have! Saves me money, and who doesn’t like an app that gives money back?! Try this app out!

  • Update fails to deliver

    Updated to version 2.0. First time I launched app, it requires name, email, & password to scan in receipts for rewards, or a Facebook login (which I don’t use) to use the app. I needed one more visit to get a $7 reward. After setting up a new account, it will not let me login. It keeps telling me not a valid account & ‘re-sign again’ OR crashes & leaves app & goes to my home screen. I appear to have lost my previous reward visits. Bottom line, do not upgrade at this time!

    Updated to version 2.0.1 on 8-4-18, 3 days after writing the above review. Same error messages! Cannot log in! Frustrating! Tried to reset my password about 5 times after reading other reviews so I could log in by using my email address, which is also my user name, but NEVER sends a message to my email address to “update” the log in. Complete failure on Schlotzsky’s for a nonfunctional app.

    After re-entering the same user name & password many many times, over about 10 days, I was able to log in & access the app. To continue with my disappointment of this app, just as I suspected, all my previous rewards for $7 off a meal were gone & it was over 72 hours after my last visit, so I couldn’t scan in my last receipt. Not really a pun - but it kind of leaves a bad taste in your mouth.

  • App not reliable

    I’ve tried to use the app a couple of times to order online and haven’t been successful yet. Yesterday, when I tried to place an order, I could add items to my cart, but I could never actually place the order for what I’d put in the cart. The “cart” icon was missing on the app screen. I even showed it to the store manager when I got there, and he couldn’t figure out how I could place an online order either using the app. While he was trying to figure it out, he decided to use his own smartphone to see if it would work. It was taking so long to go from one screen to the next, I finally told him I didn’t have time for him to figure out the problem and I would just order without the app (even though I had a $5 online order discount coming to me).
    While writing this review, I looked again today, and I do see the cart icon today on the app, so maybe this was a temporary glitch; or they fixed they app.

  • Rewards Program = JOKE!

    Yesterday, I attempted to scan my receipt for 11/03 and received an error. I just got an email back today stating my 7th punch could not be validated due to being more than 3 days old?!! How do you figure after 1 day? Then noticed in the app that I only had 5 earns?! Not only was my 7th punch inaccurately disqualified, but my 6th one as well? They reflected my earn for my 6th purchase reflected for the earn that was disqualified for my 7th one? So you disqualify 7th earn for a day old receipt, yet remove the 6th earn that's not even for the same date or associated disputed disqualification..seriously?!
