We've tried other cleaning services in the city but after trying Cleanly (ByNext) in August, we haven't felt the need to try anything else. Their services are reliable, dependable, and convenient.
The app makes each pickup easily customizable or adjustable to our preferences. If plans change and we have a pickup or drop off scheduled, we can easily edit the dates and time at no additional fee. After multiple bags of laundry and some dry cleaning, their team has always done an excellent job in making sure all our items come back to us freshly folded and scot-free!

The worst ever!
They are so unprofessional and irresponsible. I tried them multiple times and always with an issue. Last incident it was the worst. I sent them 100 lbs of laundry and supposedly they scheduled for next day. I was contacted by their concierge to be informed that they won’t be able to finish it by next day and they need more time so they went ahead and scheduled me for drop off the day after I said it’s fine. Then the day after 15 mins before the 2 hrs drop off window end and after I came early from work to be home when they come I get a message that the driver had emergency and they can’t Locate my laundry so they won’t be able to deliver it it and that they went ahead and scheduled me for the. Day after. That drove me crazy as I needed the laundry back urgently for work clothes , towels and w everything. They were so dismissive with zero empathy or understanding to my urgency. It’s very 3 days now and I never received my laundry. On top of that the few times I used them I always had missing items or spoiled items or instructions are never being followed. Save your stuff and money and never use them. It’s so inconvenient. I recommend Rinse better prices and more convenient and professional.

Truly Horrendous Customer Service
I’ve been using the laundry services on and off for several years, and every time I do I regret not just doing the laundry myself. The pick up and drop off windows are two hours long and yet somehow they are always late. I have had my order pick up cancelled without warning on several occasions (again after waiting at least 2 hours for them). My bedsheets were once returned to me reeking of someone else’s sweat and covered in shoe prints. Good luck getting your money back if you complain, as it’s almost impossible to speak to someone from customer service. I can’t remember the last time I ordered from them without any issues.

Alright, makes my life easier but is very expensive
As someone who works full time and has an active life, it’s very hard to make it to the closest laundromat near me. If I had laundry machines in my building I would prefer to do it myself but to have the option of pick up drop off service over an app had been life changing for me. Laundry is fine, you’ll get in a groove of the scheduling and just have to work around it and it’s expensive but still more convenient to me than doing it since I do not have laundry in my building. So I do recommend for that.

HORRIBLE - DO NOT USE
My experience was nothing short of horrible. I returned from a 2 month trip out west and decided to have my clothes sent out as it would be faster. I sent them 3 bags of clothes. First, I only got one small bag back when they delivered it. After complaining that more than half my clothes were missing, they said they realized that they left some behind and would bring them to me. Once they brought them I realized yet again, all of the items I asked to be air dried were missing. I asked and they said they needed 10 days to "investigate." After having to follow up multiple times they finally conceded that they totally lost the clothes.
I went back and forth with customer service forever because they wanted to give me $3 per item!! I sent them proof of purchase of each item totally over $700 dollars and they said there was nothing they can do.
The last straw was when I asked if they could at least refund the $150 I paid for the services since they were obviously not completed since my clothes were misplaced multiple times and then eventually lost. They said no.
This place is absolutely terrible - DO NOT trust them with your clothes.

WAS a loyal customer for many years
I WAS a loyal customer for many years - mostly out of necessity. This service provided the bare minimum of clean clothes. Albeit sometimes burnt. You will likely not get them back on time and there will be no warning of delays. Going on vacation and send your items out a few days before your trip - bad move here. The app provides a “chat” service for customer help if you want to call it that. It only repeats canned answers and does not allow you to actually discuss the issue you are having and receive a real solution. So happy I finally moved and will never need this service again.

Fantastic NYC Service
I LOVE ByNext. My washing machine broke, and as I’m waiting for it to get fixed, I needed laundry done stat! I downloaded ByNext and have used them three times, I don’t know if I’ll be able to quit! I put my clothes out at 5:30 p.m. and I get them back usually by 8 a.m. the next day. AND it’s not nearly as pricey as I thought it would be. The price is worth the convenience of having all my clothes washed, dried, and folded. Thank you, ByNext!

DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE!!!
They cannot follow simple instructions. Laundry is always washed/dried incorrectly- I’ve had several items ruined. They say they’ll bring it to your door but they just chuck it in your lobby & good luck. I went out of my way the last time I used them to make sure it would be brought to my door. The live chat confirmed then the delivery person said they couldn’t get up to my unit. They picked up from my unit no problem & my door man said they just left it in front of the desk. So because they were to lazy to bring it upstairs it’s just left in the lobby for anyone to take. I have a foot injury so I can’t be lugging around 20lbs of laundry but I have had to do this on multiple occasions now.
Their customer service then ignores you when you ask them to fix this.
Stay away there are plenty of laundry services & this one is by far the worst! I’d give them zero stars if I could. Now I’m trying to get my money back because I made of mistake of using their credit program.

Appalling customer service, loses and ruins your orders
I relied on this service for laundry for a while as they purport themselves to be convenient... the last two experiences I had with them however have influenced me to never use them again. They lost my most recent order and then found it after a week, and only offered a $5 credit toward my next order. The time before that, they actually ruined my bathrobe and I had to throw it away. They never offered anything to make that order “right”. I’m appalled and extremely frustrated by this company and am mad that I gave them my money. Do NOT use this app. Save your money and the frustration and go support a local business instead.

ENTIRE LOAD OF LAUNDRY LOST
As of a week ago Cleanly informed me that my latest load of laundry, that was already 2 days late in delivery (which includes most of my bedding, all of my towels, and the majority of my summer clothes and underwear) HAS ENTIRELY GONE MISSING. All items were in a Cleanly bag with the proper labeling. Additionally they have still gone ahead and charged me for cleaning the large load of laundry $45. There is no number to contact them directly and all I get is emails saying items are not "lost" but "misplaced in their facility". This is all during a time in which I have currently been unemployed for 2 months and am not in position to replace items. This is blatantly unacceptable!! NEVER USE THIS SERVICE THEY WILL LOSE YOUR CLOTHES AND NOT REIMBURSE YOU FOR ANYTHING!
