  • Great for weightlifting!

This beats out all the other lead apps for ease of use and functionality. I wish they did a free “all inclusive” trial for a few days as opposed to just a free version. The free version limits the app so much that I almost didn’t buy it, and that would have been tragic!

The one time $10 fee is way better than the monthly fees of other apps, and this one has better tracking features!

  • Exactly What I Was Looking For

Can’t rate this app highly enough.
I was constantly trying to remember weights / reps / sets, which when isolation training 6 days a week, all I was getting was confused.
    Enter this wonderful little app.
Now I have an itemised plan for each day at the touch of a button. Great guides if I’m searching for an exercise to isolate a particular muscle. Logs that are a breeze to adjust on the fly, and my personal favourite - a timer between sets that pushes me to increase what I can fit into an hour at the gym

Looking forward to trying it out on the Apple Watch

  • Works well

Works as advertised. I would like to know what formula is used to calculate calories burnt though, numbers seem a little too generous.
  • Amazing App

This App is amazing! It’s intuitive and full of essential features to keep track of and log your workouts. Super easy to use and customizable to fit your needs. I’ve tried several other workout tracking apps in the past, and by a landslide, this is the best product in the category. Highly recommend it!

  • Great

I was so disappointed when gym buddy disappeared but the blessing has been finding Gym Logs plus. I went through 8 or so apps before I found one that had the flexibility I needed. Great app.
  • A Genuine Workout App Indeed!!

No subscription! That’s awesome enough in my book.
  • Cough Up the $4

I am among the cheapest people alive, but this app has been well worth it. I can track my progress, track my measurements, My workouts preload. For a guy who likes to work out but not spend all day and all week thinking about it, this is pretty much everything I’m looking for.
  • Really disappointed I paid for the premium

I went ahead and purchased the upgrade before using the app because I was trying to build a routine and wanted access to more exercises.
Entering anything into the app is cumbersome , though and not something you want to stop and do in the middle of an exercise, especially if you’re tracking more than one person. I’ve tried using the watch app and after getting home I learned that nothing was recorded to the app. Also there is a start and end button for your workout which sounds simple but can get confusing. Once I end a workout for a given day I shouldn’t be able to restart it again without some sort of “Hey, you’ve already done this” kind of message. It sounds trivial but I’ve noticed I’ve inadvertently hit the Resume after ending a session only to find the timers are running in the background until I check it again. It throws off all of the timing for your workout if you go to review them and is just unfortunate design.
Either way, there’s a decent list of exercises and the $10 is sunk cost so I guess I can reference it if I don’t know how to do something and need static sketch to show me how. Still searching for the right App.

    Developer Response

Hi, Thanks for the review! Sorry to hear you are disappointed with the app. I think you can receive a refund if you contact Apple. For switching between users doing the same workout on the same iPhone, I recommend turning on Settings > Users > Switch Users Shortcut to make this quicker. Regarding the Apple Watch logging, I'll take a look--the Apple Watch app should sync logged sets with the iPhone app once it's within range of the iPhone (I workout myself with the Apple Watch, though I typically also have my iPhone on me, too, so the sync occurs immediately). For the Resume workout functionality, I'll look into adding some sort of notification about the workout being done already. My rationale for having it work this way is I was frustrated myself when many other workout apps wouldn't allow you to go back into a workout easily whether it was finished or not to log additional workout sets. Please note that even if you go back to the workout, the actual workout duration won't be changed unless you log an additional set even though the workout timer resumes running. You can also view logged sets via the History tab. Feel free to send me suggestions or comments in the app via Settings > Suggest a Feature. Regards, Wade
  • Gym App

Ideal Gym app, easy to use no hassle with how it operates and simple to create your workouts. Plenty of info without being confused and adds to your workout as an effective tool
  • Good but a problem with the timer

The app is great for following your workouts especially if you make your own routine. I AM however having a problem with the timer on the app. It never stops if you do a set and hit end at 9am and then come back to complete your workout at 11am it will still add in the 2 hour gap. PLEASE FIX
