  • Great app but..

It would be awesome if it were compatible with Apple Watch that way mothers have an option to track their contractions on their watch rather then phone. I feel like because we use our phone for other things like video recording, photos, calls etc having the app open consumes battery. So I’m having to keep my phone on charger so that there’s enough battery for taking photos etc later on … or having to call the hospital etc.

    Food for thought

  • Good but pop ups

Useful but it keeps asking for a review while I am in labour
  • The free version has some issues, but is good

So this app is great. I helped me to keep track of my contractions and gave me a record to bring to the hospital. My issue with this app is that when you have to free version, it has a sneaky extra black ring around the start contraction button so that when you are trying to look at the record, you might accidentally push it. When you do that you start a contraction and mess up your average. In order to delete it or change it you have to pay for it. That just seems deceptive to me. Other than that I love that you can easily start and stop contractions, see your record and average, and rate the severity of the contraction.

  • Worked Great!

Worked Great! Worth the extra couple bucks to get the full version
  • Not worth the money.

Maybe this app would have more value to the parents who only want to know what time to go to the hospital. But we did hike birth and wanted to know when to call the midwife. Same same. But the part where the app isn’t very smart is when we were tracking, it would tell us over and over to get ready to go to the hospital, then eventually go to the hospital. Which it would keep repeating over and over. Like yeah, I heard ya. Still wanted to keep track. Not worth the $3, but what’s $3 anyways? This review is just my experience I’m sharing for anyone who’s on the fence and in maybe a similar situation. Don’t waste your money. My wife never had contractions lasting more than a minute, so the 5-1-1 method wouldn’t have worked either. My advice is that once she starts to really get crippled by the contractions, it’s time to go to hospital or calll the midwife. Labor lasted 14 hours and I’m glad we stayed home, much more comfortable and the baby came out aware not high on fentanyl. Cheers.

  • Truly Invaluable: Highly Recommended

This app enabled me to effectively track and manage my contractions at home. I found it both easy to use and reassuring. It gave pop-ups when it thought I should go to hospital, I ignored the first two as I was managing the pain well at home. It was much more effective than me at measuring this, I was worried I was going to early! But the App had us arriving at the hospital with between 5-6cms dilated.

  • Ad, Ad, Ad, Ad, Ad!!!

Installed because I’m due this week and it’s written up as “Number 1 most downloaded!” Yeah, well after nearly inadvertently paying for the full app which I don’t want or need because I’m just after a simple timer/tracker… (Thank Apple for the click to confirm setting!) I came to realise that whilst using the app I was going to get the desperate “Pay for the full version” ad every few button presses! I was in app for less than 4 minutes and the Ad screen came up as many times! I’d rather use a pen and paper if that’s going to be shoved down my throat every two seconds 😒 ask me once if I want the full version and accept bloody NO when your users say no….

  • Great little app

Come on people, it’s just £2 for a nkcely dedigned and very useful app. If you don’t want tocspend this much on your significant one, use a standard countdown app. My only wish would be to have a watch version of the app as watches are always with you and are much easier to use.
  • Amazing…it really works!!

I was only 32 weeks and 6 days pregnant when I started having contractions. I wasn’t sure if they were Braxton hicks or real contractions, so I downloaded this app. It told me right away that I should start preparing to go to the hospital. I was in denial but I could see that my contractions went from 5.5 minutes apart to 4 minutes apart. Still in denial, I called the on-call doctor, and he said it was probably nothing but I could go in to get checked if I wanted to ease my mind…the whole time the app was telling me to head to hospital now. When I got to the hospital I was already a 7! I couldn’t believe how accurate this app was. I’m so relieved and thankful that I downloaded it.
