  • Check scanner

    Frequent problems with the check scanner saying the check size is invalid for standard business checks

  • Still having issues depositing checks

    Still need multiple tries to get an acceptable photo of the front of the check. It it too stringent on what it accepted. Plus have tried multiple times to turn on face recognition on my IPhone 13 with no luck .

  • Good app but poor photo deposit function!

    The app often fails to capture cheques and advises that they are “the wrong size”- so often takes 20-30 attempts to deposit a cheque. Aaaarrgh! We never have this issue with apps from other banks. Also, the app simply cannot recognize the written “courtesy amount” if the cheque is in French, so we have to take cheques from Quebec customers to the branch for deposit. Very frustrating in a bilingual country like Canada. Come on HSBC!

    Lenta y tarda mucho en reflejar los pagos, cualquier pago que quieras hacer se bloquea la cuenta, no vale la pena

    The e-deposit camera is very frustrating. Instead of taking the picture it produces an error message which offers nonsensical advice.

  • App crashes every time for mobile auth

    Unless I’m in the app when I click the mobile authentication button, the app will crash when I click on the notification.
    iPhone 13 pro.

  • AR department

    The scan cheque doesn’t work. We try to scan 30 times.
  • Essential App for

    Decent app and essential for making the most out of the net platform. Replacement of the fob is arguably the best feature and great for new wfh team members.

    I agree that the payment authorising screen needs more at-a-glance information to make payments easier to check before approving.

    Don’t forget that HSBC are pretty much the only retail-corporate bank investing in their cash management platform.
