  • Clunky and not intuitive

This app serves its purpose. However the UI is hard to use and is not super intuitive but the same is true with the web app.

It would be great if the password save option or Face ID was enabled for this app. It’s annoying to have to add the password every single time.

It would also be great to be able to have two way messaging threads with the doc and nurses. Right now you can send and they can reply but you can not reply through the same thread.

  • Ok-ish

I think this app could be great but there are a number of bugs that need to be fixed first:
There are always pending notifications that don’t go away no matter how many times you complete the task on a desktop. Recently the app has also just started shutting down on me if I click around too much trying to read/find things. They allow you to upload a profile photo but it uploads sideways and there is no ‘rotate’ option. The messaging feature doesn’t seem to work as I can’t actually send a message to my provider. Other than these issues, it’s ok and not hard to use but I much prefer just logging in on a webpage to get a better experience

  • Only use because I am forced too

Horrible. Cannot log in on a desktop or tablet even tho I use the same password, I always get an “incorrect” message. And also cannot open any labs when using the app. If I try to open a lab, the app automatically shuts down. Messaging is also stupidly designed because you can never just respond to a message in your inbox. You have to start a new message every time you want to communicate so there is no communication history listed below.

App hasn’t been updated in 2 years so obviously it has bugs to fix. I only use because my provider uses it. Otherwise Spruce is way better

  • Could Be Better

I do love how there is an app to talk directly to I need to talk to. However, I have had this app for about a year now, and I cannot access my profile. I can access everything else but once I click on my profile to update it and add my info it closes out the whole app. I’ve tried everything to keep it from doing that but no luck. It also logs me out within 8-10 seconds of not touching the screen. So when I’m reading something and I haven’t touched the screen, it goes blank. But the commutation between the nurses and I are great.

  • Really? Really?

This is FERTILITY, a life changing, preparing for good group of people to help families geez… single, married, donor, no problem with the process when someone is ready, but stop saying “we loaded it on the portal”, yep my partner I have ugh.
How many times do I have to repeat load it on his app portal as well. We go to another computer, and use different browsers, even on the internet without the app just not syncing.
iPhone 13 not old phone. For $20,000-$30,000 I expect higher qualified communication.

  • Worst App Ever!!

I absolutely despise this app!!! I hate it so much I have begged my doctor to stop forcing her patients to use it but she won’t. Talk about infuriating!!! It is the furthest thing from user friendly. You can’t reply to messages. It forces you to create an entire new message for every single response. Alerts don’t go away despite checking/opening them so you’ll forever have a notification on the app shortcut. If my doctor sends me a document I want a copy of, there’s no way to print it out. These are just a few of the NEVER-ENDING problems with this terrible app. I cannot wait until I’m done seeing this specialist so I can put this app in the trash where it belongs!!!

  • From 1990s?

The app keeps asking me to rate the app, so here goes.

This app is something that should have been built in the 90s, not 2022. The other reviews have already mentioned all of the problems. The interface is dated looking, the app/alerts are buggy, the notifications are incorrect, and it isn’t always clear that there is something new added unless it is a message.

As many others mentioned, the process is very complex so having this app from 1990 only barely replaces email (and is frankly less effective than email). And even then only does so from hopefully a privacy perspective. It would be great if this app was a better messaging portal bare minimum, but it could help even more like the Embie app does…

  • Portal app

I think the concept of this application is spot on. However, I think there are a very bugs that could be worked out. My biggest pet peeve with this is the message page. Having to recreate a new message every time I want to respond is irritating and time wasting. I would be nice to be able to respond to the same thread. It also helps in keeping the conversation flowing smoothly. The home page tells me I have tasks to complete even if I’ve already completed them. The notification takes a long time to go away. I’ve noticed it seems like when an appointment is added to the calendar the notification will stay until the appointment day has passed. Instead maybe have the option to snooze the notification until a day or two before the appointment. It does give the option to add the appointment to the calendar, but when it is clicked on it closes the app and never is able to reach the calendar app. Such a good tool to use, just needs a little UI TLC.

  • Worst application, shame on clinics who use it

If your clinic uses this app, they have made your life harder than it needs to be. This app is the biggest pain, is entirely unintuitive, and does nothing but cause frustration. Communications are impossible, and you can’t have messages back and forth. You cannot actually find documents that are uploaded. And please tell mw why the background for every sign-in screen is white baby feet? Insensitive and rude. Shame on clinics who use this. I’m sure they had to get a pay bump for this trash app.

  • Worst app

I’ve never written a review for an app before, but that’s how bad this app is. I unfortunately have to use it because that’s how my doctor’s office communicates, but it is so bad. Just the whole software, layout, and organization is bad. You have to log out and back in to clear your notifications. You can’t reply to messages (which is the main reason why I use the app), so anytime they respond to you you have to start an entirely new thread. If you are a providers office, please choose any EMR besides eIVF, or at least push them to do a complete overhaul of the app and online patient portal.
