Brilliant app
I use this with Apple TV with few glitches. The only complaint is that it needs its own forum, rather than using facebook. Many of us oldies will not use facebook!
Crash and fail multiple times
Wanted more realistic scenery and RRF hence Fulgaz but the app crashes and fails even after the 5-10min. of downloading the rides. After 1-2 years on other apps this comeback resulted in poor , money wasted experience.
The Apps/user interface NEED work
The rides themselves are fine. The user interface requires a LOT of work. It feels so much less refined than anything I’ve ever used before. I’m pretty disappointed.
When you select view all or new rides, the filter options are. A-Z, date added, distance, elevation, toughness, duration… what about “location”?
When trying to find rides In the map, you have to click on the dot - but instead of it showing quick details, the app has to “load” and then zoom in an animated depiction of the route. So then it takes 5-10 seconds for that to happen, meanwhile I just wanted to see the quick details like distance and elevation before moving onto the next route. It honestly adds so much extra time because it’s just so slow. On my PC, (a new dell xps 15) the program crashed twice, and I’m frozen in the settings menu unable to go back to the Home Screen. Further more, you can’t use keyboard keys to pause (at least they didn’t work for me) the program. Clicking the buttons barely worked. Honestly terrible. I decided to download the app on my iPad instead to see if it is any better. Yes it’s a big quicker but the same problems with mal selection and everything I previously mentioned.
The video game play itself is good. I enjoyed the ride. Fix these bugs, allow remote control via a phone to start stop change views etc. make your in game buttons nicer. Filter by region, have quick preview for routes.
I want to enjoy this so much more.

Great selection of quality, real-life videos, affordable
This app’s technical issues (noted in other reviews and largely resolved in current version, at least in my experience) are far outweighed by the breadth and quality of the videos and affordability of the service. Love the crowdsourced model—it creates a library of real-world, relatable rides like ones I’d do IRL. FulGaz team is great to work with, too, if you have a question or problem. Liked the system so much I became a contributor (including making the necessary investment in GoPro, mount, bike computer, etc., to meet the system’s specs).

Glitchy and Unreliable
When this App works, it’s great. The videos are really well done and there is a bunch of variety. But, today is the third day in a row that I’m kitted up and sitting in the saddle, while the App crashes over and over. I’ve tried deleting it completely (losing all my downloaded rides in the process) only to get the same results. I’m about to go risk my life in the cold rain where I live, because riding is supposed to reduce my stress not add to it. Used to be a fan.

Great App, Possible Bugs
I really like the idea of being able to ride while looking at real life scenery. I tried a similar app but I didn’t like it at all. I’ve used FulGaz on 5 rides, so I’m fairly new. The advanced settings makes the ride feel very realistic. Sometimes the video stutters. I’m going to move my rig closer to my WiFi antenna to see if that makes a difference. Today, while I was about 15 minutes into my ride, I had an incoming call which I rejected. The app restarted my ride, taking me to the starting point and resetting my mileage but the time remain going. This seems like a bug. I’m running the latest version of the app and of my iPhone. Next time, I plan on setting the do not disturb so it doesn’t happen again, but the app should not do that. Nonetheless , I think the app has lots of potential. I will write an updated review in about 30 rides so I can have more experience with it.

Great app!
Not only does it work well, it reminds me of places I’ve been to in the past. If you can’t see all the rides, go to settings and clear the cache.
Realistic bike rides with nice scenery
I have been using this app for several months and find the variety of rides to offer easy rides to very challenging ones excellent. They are also continuing to improve and increase a variety of options.
Frustrating app
This app is totally unreliable. Many rides are out of sync, sometimes it will stop in the middle of a ride for no apparent reason, getting the .fit files can take anywhere from 7 minutes to 7 days, rides don’t seem to be vetted so some of them all you see is blue sky and no road, another ride allows you to stare at some guys testicle bike lights for the entire ride (not my idea of a fun ride). When asked about this inappropriate ride, I was told it was up to who ever submitted the ride to make adjustments, they don’t care.

Would be amazing... if it worked
I’ve been using this app for over a year and the problems just keep getting worse. It crashes at least 4-5 times / hour - frequently to the point where the only fix is to uninstall and reinstall bc otherwise it won’t even open. Speeds have no bearing on reality (for example when the grade starts increasing, my speed will immediately drop to .2 mph even before I shift or change cadence). The rides are beautifully filmed and it’s a great concept, but I’m beyond frustrated with the issues.
