  • Great for structured training but no Apple Health integration!

Trainer road is working flawlessly with my latest generation Keiser M3i spin bike and Polar H10 heart rate monitor. The structured workouts with AI adaption is a great feature for consistently pushing yourself with achievable rides within your fitness level. The only let down and what feels like a major flaw is no Apple Health integration! No rides or workout sessions are synced when these should be core functionality for any iPhone fitness app.

  • Fitter + Faster

If you want to get faster and enjoy riding your bike even more, TrainerRoad will make it possible.

A small investment but HUGE returns!

Thanks Nate, Jonathan, Amber, Chad and all the fabulous crew!
  • Best cycling training app

This app is in such a perfect place right now. Adaptive Training + Train Now + FTP detection is such an incredible combination of tools to keep my training consistent. For reference, I have been using TR since before Adaptive Training and even before Plan Builder. I took pride in building out what I thought would be the perfect plan for me and I was hesitant to use Adaptive Training at first, but I would never go back. FTP detection is like the last piece of the puzzle for me. I always had “test anxiety” the night before a ramp test and I would sleep terribly, inevitably having a negative impact on my ramp test. Not anymore. Now I just have to ride, eat, and get faster! If only TR could make my meals healthy, too!

  • Best training app with proven results

Nearing on 4 years of use, objective improvement in my fitness and strength. Plan Builder is a game changer. AI FTP detection and Trainnow are immense. Weekly podcast is a must listen. All my A races have yeilded results including masters National medals and taking out several big NZ masters races. It’ll make you faster (and happy).

  • Brilliant

Trainerroad is the best app I own. The reason is this: every other app wants more from me, more time, money or engagement, whereas I genuinely feel TR has my best interests in mind. They aren’t trying to entertain me, or mystery box me into spending money, there is no gamification. They are just there to make me faster.

  • The place to get faster

There are plenty of apps out there trying their best to distract you. This app is for those who are not afraid to admit why you’re here: training. Incredible execution and light years ahead in tailoring every workout and recovery ride to make you faster. The coaches and people behind this app are truly leading the way in maximizing your ability. The new flexible Adaptive Training is smart enough to consider your missed days or potential overtraining when life gets stressful. If you need to suffer with company, the group workout feature works slick to patch in a few friends. TrainerRoad is worth every penny.

  • Worth it

I started riding again in 2019 after a 7 year hiatus. I was an overweight powerlifter and couldn’t tie my shoes without getting out of breath. I was depressed and needed a big change to bothsee myself differently and feel good again. This program has given me the tools I needed to get out of my own head and enjoy cycling again. I don’t have power numbers from my 20s and 30s to compare to because hr was the only affordable option for me back then. I will say that with this program, I started with a 177 ftp in 2019 and am currently at 285. The new features with adaptive training are wonderful. I could go on, but TR is worth every penny. If you’re hesitant just listen to the podcast and you’ll hear many similar stories. Update- just used the new ftp detection feature and @ 288 now!

  • Cost vs reward

I’ve been with trainer road for 9+ years actually closer to 10. App has been improving and I like features that have been changed and improved upon. I can’t say that I have any complaints nor areas for improvement. It does the job I need. All that said the price has been steadily going up. I’d like to see some kind of return or benefit for those that have been here longer or price difference. At some point it will be too much and I’ll have to find a cheaper service which might lack in over all enjoyment but it would be lighter on my wallet.

Again thanks for a great app.

Thanks for the recommendations and for being with us, Myles!
  • Adaptive training works well for me

I’ve used TR on and off for a few years now but have always struggled with consistency. Not a fault of the app but just me in general. Adaptive training has made a big difference, I get motivated by upping my progression levels and if I do miss a session or two it adapts so the next ones aren’t a struggle. I’m getting faster/stronger and for the first time in forever actually maintaining the speed rather than going round in circles.

  • Feel the joy

Long time subscriber who’s just got back on the rollers after a back op. There is nothing like a sweet spot session to just get the body and mind rocking. Each session is a little step forward and you can feel the improvement week to week. Feel the joy!
