Oh boy not user friendly
I really thought this would be a great product to use when I could not get to my laptop and printer. I have to print a PDF file that was sent via email. I have been trying now for two days and still can not get the PDF file to convert to JPG file. I am at my wits end. Not at all what I thought this would be. Doesn’t Discover Scanner
CON: This AP is so stripped down, there isn’t any ability to manually connect to my Doxie scanner. I have my Doxie joined to my home network but the only way the app works is if it uses the built-in Doxie WiFi SSID. So, every device can access my scans EXCEPT my mobile device.
RECOMMENDATION:
Give users the ability to manually assign IP address in the app. Also, give access to a log so users can read why it can’t discover properly. Otherwise, in my opinion, since it won’t discover correctly, and have no idea why, or any way to troubleshoot, this app is worthless.Show lessneon_breze

Doesn’t support older Doxies
I have a Doxie Go and I wish I could plug in an SD card or the scanner directly to my iPad.Will from Vancouver
Very disappointing
The user interface needs a lot of work not very user-friendly. The Wi-Fi connectivity is very spotty even when you’re in front of the device and you have everything else connected to your network it is very difficult for it to pair up to your device. I never write reviews - but this device just annoyed me endlessly.
I give it 2 stars because out of the box, it was an easy set up and the scans looked good.
However, every time after that, it has been an hour long ordeal just trying to get it connected to any of the 3 cell phones in our house. I finally had the last straw tonight after wasting 3 hours with it this weekend. It is now scattered in pieces across the kitchen floor.Show lessxtaldoc

The scanner is connected to my network. It connects to my device maybe 20% of the time. When it connects it is great.EZPASS

First off, the pictures didn’t scan great. Taking a picture of my picture comes out better. Secondly, I only have an iPad. I don’t use a computer at home. When I take a picture with my iPhone it is saved on the photos app, but it also automatically saves to my Google Photos and Amazon Photos app. I can’t figure out how to save the photos in those apps with just my IPad. I will be sending it back. Plus a main reason I bought it was because it has a SD card but it is a weird size and I can’t use it to download to my phone.Show lessirishone1012
Works fine but missing major feature
Why can’t we rename the scans before they’re exported? Or at least use a date/time format like we can on the full app?laxidaisy
