Productivity Ruiner
Major Issues make otherwise excellent hardware a huge pain for users looking to go paperless. Better off looking elsewhere until Doxie approaches software engineering with the same quality that they devote to their hardware:
1) If youre scanning en masse, youre in for trouble. You cannot batch export jpgs to any app, including camera roll. Only batch export option is to either merge the entire cabinet as a PDF, or do file exports manually by plugging in your phone and grabbing them out of iTunes file cabinet, as if its 2007.
2) The wireless connection continuously loses the scanner, requiring an app restart.
3) If your phone is in low battery mode and your screen goes to sleep during the import process, major errors importing occur, including crashes and potentially lost data.
4) App has no ability to crop or rotate pages.
5) Occasionally, scans on the device will error out, making them completely unrecoverable with a spinning wheel.
Id give this negative stars if I could, as any work you do in your Doxie scanner must go through this horribly crippled app as a pass-thru device.Show lessMuffin McDanger
Missing interleave option
Good yet basic app but it's missing the interleave option. Scanning dual sided pages is an essential feature so I hope this gets added soon.mosquitoguy
Long way to go for a perfect app
1. You can only see one file at a time during preview
2. It does not have BOX or Dropbox direct link
3. In order to upload to any cloud service you have to select one file at a time or decide to upload all scans as one single pdfRobotmode

Hi there, Thanks so much for your feedback, and I'm sorry for the trouble with Doxie's app. You should be able to share your scans with third part apps such as Box, DropBox and others. In regards to preview, you can only view one file at a time, however this allows you to get a good look at the file itself before deciding if it's ok or edit it before sharing. Crashes when sharing
Crashes whenever I attempt to "Share this scan as a JPEG" OR "Share this scan as a PDF." So currently useless.jawalsh
App just crashes
After importing my scans, exporting some to Evernote, and deleting them, now all it does is crash and it's useless to me.Chakatodd
Too basic
This app lets you connect to and import scans from doxie scanner, that is it. All the features of the desktop app need to be brought over to this app. This iOS app will work, if next to no editing is needed for scanned items, otherwise you're going to have to use the desktop software, which makes being portable and carrying around just the doxie scanner and my iPad difficult. I hope there is an update coming that adds a lot of missing features.Show lessEragin

I love the simplicity of the app, in terms of transferring scans from the Doxie Go Wi-Fi it is very straightforward. I can rotate scans, staple them together and rename the files easily. The function that I would love to see is the ability to share multiple scans to Dropbox/Evernote etc in one go. Right now I might scan 5 invoices to put into my Dropbox invoices folder, I find I need to share 5 times to get them all in. Being able to select all 5 invoices and drop them in all together would be a real time saver.Show lessCaptain Muso

While you can't share multiple files at once with Doxie's iOS app, you can always staple them and then share them with DropBox or any other application. We have come across instances in which customers tell us they staple receipts with similar dates together, in order to send them to the same folder all at once. I have just bought a new Doxie Go WiFi and it works like a charm, really love this product. The app on my MacBook and my PC at office work well but the problems appear in the app for IPhone.
First, when I create a password for my Doxie, iPhone app can't connect to scanner even if i can find the Doxie, this trouble doesn't happen on Mac and PC.
Second, after importing, when try to delete the files on Doxie scanner, the app crashes all the time.
Really love this Doxie scanner so hope that you will fix these troubles ASAP.Show lessNight Raven 86
