Zero Support. Lies about delivery times.

Gojek’s food delivery is awful. After ordering, it tells you it will deliver in the estimated time but never does.

The estimated time will randomly change. It says drivers will be assigned, leaves you waiting for ages with no way to cancel, and no updates.

Then it will automatically just cancel your order if you try to request support or ask for more information about your order through it’s awful chat bot.

Forces you to pay for priority now unless you want to wait 2 hours for your food to arrive while drivers drop of 10+ other meals.

Will be using Grab from now on.

Poor customer service

The app is super convenient when it works. Unfortunately, they often accept an order, wait 60 minutes, and then cancel the order citing no available drivers. That’s terribly frustrating.

Worst costomer service

I used the Gojek taxi service while I was in Bali (Aug 2024) and I left one of my valuable personal items in the Gojek taxi. I tried to contact the driver through the app, but the provided driver’s contact number was not working, then I contacted Gojek customer care and they initially created a ticket for the lost item and promissed to contact the driver and get back to me. Later I tried to contact the Gojek customer care service a few times and left a few messages through the app, but the customer care never replied to me or never get back to me. It is so dissapointed about the Gojek customer care service, also it seems that it is very unsafe to use Gojek service as the provided driver’s contact number is not in use which is a big question about the passengers safety. The poor way that Gojek responded to this matter shows that they don’t care about the passengers safty.

Suggestion 🤷🏻‍♀️

Your service is amazing. I rate it very highly. Although I have a suggestion as last night I was left exposed alone without a service. I’m not great with technology so this might already exist. But because your service was having issues with taking a payment automatically when my ride was matched. My ride was cancelled by your service. I couldn’t order a ride and pay with cash. I was unable to change any payment options. So I’m wondering if you can order a ride and if there’s a glitch with automatic payments can your service allow me to choose to pay with cash.

Be careful

The app is super helpful in Bali butttt be super careful if you added your debit card for payments. When you cancel something they take the payments and they don’t refund them. I read all the policies, I tried to contact them and is almost impossible to get an answer. Finally I got a reply through fb and all the “information” they gave me didn’t match with what happened to me and my balance. So I lost $70 NZD. The customer service through the app and the refund policy it’s a lie.

No helmets on scooter rides!

Doesn’t seem to be a way to give feedback or access help chat easily in the app but beware that drivers don’t have helmets for you if you choose a scooter/motorbike option - not sure how safe that is.
Also if you want to tip your driver and you don’t have a local card, it’s impossible! I should be able to tip using the same card I pay for the ride with.
