    I rely on Gojek everyday to get things done. It is an essential app that is invaluable and the most helpful service
  • Good for transport, terrible for food delivery

    I have never had any issues with gojek transport! All the drivers are very kind and it is generally very easy to book.

    However, I attempted to use the app one time for food delivery and the app said “food is in the kitchen” for one hour before Gojek automatically cancelled my order. It turns out that the issue was that Gojek could not find someone to deliver my food and instead of saying so, they blamed the kitchen and cancelled on me without notice! Gojek should be more transparent about food deliveries. If i knew they could not find a driver I would have cancelled myself sooner and saved a lot of time.

    I ordered from another app, same restaurant, the next day and received my order within 30 minutes, including both cooking and delivery time.

  • Epic! (Except for the pointless points)

    Having used this app in Bali for 5 years, it deserves a 5-star rating from me! In my experience, it’s an invaluable resource for convenient transportation and ordering anything anytime, from electricity to es kelapa. One gripe: Go-Points used to be worthwhile but now they are pointless. I should have redeemed an awesome offer last year because now it’s so stingy with the points and puts an expiration date on them. No one wants points anyway! The new offerings are either so lackluster or totally unattainable without a zillion points. Not always perfect, I agree with other reviewers that say GoJEK can be particularly problematic for tourists. Familiarity with your location and a working knowledge of Indonesian go a long way to ensure expectations are met. Miscommunication can cause annoying situations for both sides. Please GO-JEK responsibly.

  • One stop shop app

    I love how everything is organized into one app. All your daily needs from A to Z is in a tap on a screen. I hope we can see more of this outside of Indonesia too, especially the low cost, that is a win for sure!
  • Patient with delayed restaurant.

    Driver was so patient and waited for the restaurant when they were delayed with our order and then drive 10 mins out of Ubud to deliver in the middle of no where.
  • Unreliable

    The drivers are incredibly unreliable, will often pass over jobs if other more favourable ones come, all that is required to put this app out of business is some one offering half price piggy back rides to your destination where they actually show up.
  • Poor Service

    GPS on the app is terrible. Driver tracking is impossible as location is jumping all over the place, with the ETA varying all the time. Gojek needs to sort this out.
