Absolute scam artists
This company is constantly looking to scam another dollar out of you. Buy their proprietary equipment. Pay their monthly rate, highest in the business. Want a discount? Commit to years of additional service, major cancellation fees apply. Cancel your service during a current month that you’ve already paid for? Plan to pay another month of service from that day, meaning you’ll pay extra for the overlapping days, plus you get a month you didn’t want. There isn’t another way to cancel … it’s their “policy” to charge you $55 to cancel, even if you’re not on a contract. Never mind that service was a fraction of this cost when you signed on, and you’ve been off contract for years.
Their equipment fails or requires maintenance and you *have* to work with their annoying phone tree and rude agents. Or just let it constantly beep at you, and keep paying. Considering a lower service option? Tough, there isn’t one … unless you’d like to commit to 3 more years of expensive service. God help you if you change your mind. They’ll also use scare tactics, fear, ridiculous hold times, and general tricks to convince you not to cancel.

This app is terrible, who designed this? All I want to do is go update my payment information and pay my bill and when I select the link under Make Payment Now, a dialog pops up and I can’t even scroll down to complete the payment. Who developed this app?? I go online to their website and when I login I have to use 2FA, which takes like 10 minutes? This is unacceptable for a security service when I need access immediately, not 10 minutes from now. The customer service and actual response time when the alarm goes off is great, but the app and website login is awful it makes me question if I should go with another service. The user experience of the app to check the security cameras and door cameras has been horrible as well, we switched to Ring because it was unusable. I like FrontPoint for their security response time when it’s needed, but on the technology front it’s horrible.Show lessUnsatisfactory
The app is good for monitoring status of the sensors. Other than that, documentation does not match the app functions. Clearly there’s a problem when installing a new keychain remote!
Another issue I have all the time is that the wifi does not stay connected. I’ve spoke to a representative months ago and she said we were down revision. She said she would force update which never happened.
Between the lack of functionality and poor support it will be difficult for me to choose to renew.Show less
