Needs a lot of work

The concept is great when the app actually works. I found that it’s glitchy. It takes time to redirect to tasks or videos. I’ve had issues with the app not redirecting me to the main page. The support team responds quickly but cannot resolve the issue. This is now the third time I cannot login to the app to see my tasks. It will not load my page and even though the support team has tried to help, it’s been 3 days that I cannot access it. The only option is to go on my computer which isn’t very convenient. This app needs a lot of work.

Nice app

Very helpful app to use both before and after surgery. I also utilize the provider communication available through the app.
The only thing I’d like to see available within the app is a place where I could record my personal notes about my progress such as “Had a low grade fever for two hours last evening,” or “Slightly unsteady in my gait on the curve in the sidewalk this morning.” Otherwise, great app and excellent tool for surgery recovery. Keeps getting worse

When I first started using this app I rated it as worthless. After using it for several weeks I’ve decided it’s even worse. You can not transition directly between pages you have Tim use the menu. If you make a incorrect entry it can not be corrected. About half the time when attempting to update an exercise session they Al update for no apparent reason.

The more I use this app the more pathetic it is. When recording the suggested exercises sometime the app updates and sometimes it doesn’t. Sometimes when updating a session they all update and sometimes nothing updates. This app is completely worthless.

Interface is Clunky, Print does not work

The print function does not work on either my iOS or iPadOS devices (app and devices up to date). This is a big barrier to the intended role of the app, which is to make important instructions available to me. I have to go into the app each time to check on instructions, and the broken Print function prevents me from making the instructions available to my care partner. Also, for every exercise phase, all exercises are shown as “New” even when they are not. This makes the “new” tag useless. The Help function is confusing as well — it looks like a chat function but there’s no place to enter chat text.

Great Tool to have

I found Force App to be helpful pre and post surgery. It kept me focused prior to surgery doing strength exercises and post surgery with helping me accountable to exercises when I’m alone.
Would like to have a space to write down any difficulties with exercises-
& have more than 1 x for pain as it changes.
All in all I enjoy using this app, It has been helpful!

RO

I agree totally with the previous review; Great App; Quite Engaging and Encouraging. Once again I also knock down 1/2 a star because, after watching video once, I just want to see in Summary, the title of exercise and a clear picture of the exercise, (without the arrow blocking the picture) all in one page, numbered 1,2,3..
Too much looking on phone while exercising otherwise.

App not easy to use and has incorrect information

This app does have a few good general pieces of information but any good is overshadowed by inefficient it is to use. When checking tasks and then a video, once closed you return to the main page when you need to move to tasks then again to videos. This process is obnoxious when your provider loads 14 new videos.

Furthermore, the app is telling me to perform exercises that my provider specifically told me not to do such as bending my knee for the first few weeks after surgery. If I were following this app, they would have me bending my knee on day 4 and screwing up the work the surgeon did.

I called the nurse and she told me to just ignore the force therapeutics app and listen to what my therapist tells me to do. That statement should tell you everything you need to know about this app.

Fantastic tool! Bilateral knee replacement

I had my Left knee replaced and 8 weeks later my right knee. The FORCE tool knew I had two different surgeries and I was able to toggle back and forth between the program for each knee.
The pre-op, and post operative instructional videos were excellent! I used the daily tracking capability to manage my exercises and log pain levels. It’s great to also set goals and track progress towards those goals.
I also found the ability to communicate with my treatment team via text and video helpful. My physical therapist was also very impressed with the comprehensive Force application!
Well done!

Fantastic App for Knee Replacement

I’m thrilled with the Force App … a great educational tool, tracker, and method to communicate with my care team. It provides great instructional videos and information 4-6 weeks prior to surgery, daily tasks, exercise tracking and ties into my Apple Watch to record my steps! Having both my right and left knee replaced… it also knew which knee to focus what communication and tasks for.

Has potential but very buggy

I’m using this before and after my spinal/lumbar fusion. I think this app has tremendous potential, but it is very buggy.
I have found exercise instructions to be incorrect when getting clarification from my care team, my surgery date changed in the app when it hadn’t in reality, and the app just stopped importing my step count at some point and it won’t restart.
On the positive side, I like being able to message my care team (have you ever tried getting an actual live call through to a doctor lately?) and I like the videos for instruction on recovery as well as PT. I review some of them periodically to refresh myself on the right way to continue to recover.
The app team should focus on quality and this can be an excellent asset for patients to use while recovering & rehabilitating.
