  • Took fees out of balance then refused to transfer to bank

    We are a small business and we use stripe to take credit cards. It’s my first time using them, I went with them because they claim to have a 2.5% service charge, which is incorrect it’s 4%. I process the transaction of $77,000 which goes through with no issues, they take out around $3,000 in service fees, then a day later send me an email saying they are terminating my account because it is too high risk, which is okay as long as I get fully refunded the $77,000. Come to find out I do not receive the $3,000 in service charges back even though they could not process that kind of money. I then go to square and square tells you from the beginning the cannot process charges over $50,000 which would have saved me a lot of hassle and money in the end. I do not recommend strip at all, zero customer service and basically a scam.

  • Terrible experience!!

    I initially was approved to accept payments, so I collected over $600 through this app, over the weekend. Despite providing them with all asked for documentation and verification, they deemed my business “too risky”… and later returned all money back to the card holders. Absolutely a nightmare! I wasn’t able to reach anyone on the phone. Only through email where they responded with “there’s nothing more we can do”. Completely unacceptable. Do not use this app !

  • Unreliable

    “Tap to pay on iPhone” doesn’t work more often than it does with a generic error message “No reader is connected” while simultaneously saying “Tap to pay on iPhone enabled & ready.”
  • No customer service number no response to emails!

    I have been trying to get a payout I was told 14 days when that 14 days came up no payment and when I checked the account it says my account has been disabled due to me not confirming my account. After hearing that I tried giving the refunded for the 2,200$ amount back to my client at which they told me I couldn’t do that due to my account being disabled. So after reaching out through 30 emails since you can’t call them (they don’t have a phone number support line) none of them were responded to but 1 which was very generic and copy and paste told me to just give a refund to the customer which I told them it wouldn’t let me so know I’m stuck in limbo where my client thinks I’m trying to scam her out of money absolutely the worst company I have ever had to deal with horrible customer service and quiet possibly scammers!

  • Takes over your stripe account

    Takes over your stripe account and stops you from using it with other platforms. You cant even remove it because it takes away your permissions to do so.
  • New tap to pay on IPhone in Canada doesn’t work with Interac

    They claim the new tap to pay on iPhone works with Interac debit cards as well but when I try it. It shows please try different card and I can’t find any reason for it online.
  • Works like a charm.

    Does everything you need. Tap to pay on iphone and products lists and customer lists. Very good app.
  • Decent but def some weak points

    Decent when you can get it working but relies on signal which in some buildings can be weak. Also, the setup was a pain and there wasn’t much online to help explain especially when the reader won’t connect to the software (in my case needed to be updated twice before working).

    Unfortunately, there is nothing we can do when there is bad connectivity besides offering an offline mode (which the app currently does).
  • Too high fees

    Decent app. Not usable as a full pos. No cash or other logs. 1.2% for a service with no responsibility is rediculous
