  • No mention of added fee

    While they claim to reduce the swipe fee to 2.7% + 5c, I see no mention of the 1% fee Payment adds. Update - developer responded the 1% fee is mentioned in the description, but I do not see it. Also mention it is listed in their terms of service and on their pricing page - but it is not clearly stated here.

    Hello Mike, The 1% app fee is listed in several places, including further down in the App Store description, on our Pricing page (https://payment.co/pricing) and in our Terms of Service.
  • Once I Finally Figured It Out

    Incredible customer service with detailed and quick response to emails…and once i figured out that i had more than 22 characters in decscripter, it’s finally working perfectly!!! thanks stripe !!!

  • The worst experiece a nightmare

    After approving my account, and allowed me to make credit card transactionsThey arbitrarily decided to close my account. It has been three weeks and they are still holding monies that they need to refund to my client, and every time they ask for another procedure, waste of time, and they just hold your money for no reason. Worst customer service, you cannot talk to a live person, I am still trying to get the refund to my client. A complete nightmare

    Unfortunately, it looks like you’re misunderstanding the difference between Stripe, and this app. Stripe’s obligation, as a financial institution, requires that information to be able to verify your business. The Payment app is merely an avenue for creating those charges, via your Stripe account.
  • A server with a specified host name could not be found

    I downloaded this app specifically to work with a card reader that I purchased directly from stripe. After trying to contact the software company for several weeks I have gotten no response. They are paid based on the transactions we run through their software. I would be perfectly happy for them to receive their percentage if they could resolve the server and host name issue. Until such time the software does nothing for me.

  • Setup doesn’t connect to chosen account

    During setup it offers me the existing Stripe sub-account I have and want the charges going to, but then it creates a *new* sub-account under my Stripe login and connects to that instead. This is annoying behavior and will cause me extra work each month. I did contact the developer but have only gotten the autoresponder so far.

    This is a new limitation of Stripe’s services, as they now require that various platforms must have segmented accounts (e.g Shopify, Payment app, etc would all have different sub-accounts). This is a security feature on your behalf, so platforms can only see the transaction volume created via their platform (Shopify can only see sales through Shopify).
  • Missing one feature

    Great app that allows for easy debit and credit card processing. One thing that would make things a lot easier would be a way to also record cash transactions. Also allow connection of Bluetooth receipt printer.

    I like stripe never had any problems. This app works . I give 4 stars because I wish it could update inventory on my website. Also it be nice if this app showed pictures of your products when checking out a customer. 👍

    I Been trying to get a payout, when I ran the payments I was told the 26th two days before the 26th they disable my payouts, I contacted customer service (trough email because they do not have a phone number I can call and talk to somebody) I email them, 26 or so email later they don’t know how to fix whatever issue they are having, I keep getting same generic answer from the many different people, but no one has been able to fix their issues. I will cancel the payments and redo them with a different company, also the fee’s they advertise are not what they charge you, save your self the headache, and go with a different company!!!

    It looks like your Payouts have been disabled by Stripe (the gateway you use to charge credit cards). This is a separate service from the Payment app. To learn more about what may be going on with your Payouts, you'll need to contact Stripe's support team at: https://support.stripe.com/contact
