There was nothing wrong with the old app

But after some initial crashes now the new up works so far.
One problem:
As long as current t booking not picked up, cannot book next taxi for Friend.
I cannot see how to go back to main menus while booking in place / driver on the way. How?

A mess

I agree totally with the other reviews, this app is a storybook example of how NOT to upgrade an app. Golden rule is make it better, not worse. The new version fails that on many levels. Here are a few of them.
1 The interface is a MESS. The old one, while not perfect, was much easier to follow and use. And more attractive. (Why do developers think a white background is somehow cooler?)
2 Favourites – See the other reviews.
3 reinstate the reverse direction arrows to enable easy access to a return journey bookings.
4 it took me almost 10 minutes of trying to make a booking yesterday. The app was fixated on journey points that I didn’t want, and wouldn’t allow me to change. I had to quit the app several times.
5 sometimes I want to get rid of everything except the map in order to increase its size, but this is not possible.
6 I couldn’t find the History button or the Settings button etc
So, overall, a big fail. Better to reinstate the previous version, and save money on developer fees.

A huge leap backwards

From a great app that was quick and easy to use the following happened
The app was changed without any notice to customers
The branding on the app changed so it took me awhile to find it
Therefore I missed a client meeting because I needed to renter everything twice for the two factor authorisation.
Because the app freezes and you can’t go back to the beginning. I had to down load it again and go thru reauthorisation
The arrival estimates are wrong and I only found out today how to find out where the taxi is.
Data was only partially taken across to the new app so the taxi knows the address but I have to enter the instructions to the driver separate unless I can find out where to do it
Txt is hard to read
App freezes as soon as you leave the wifi.
For the first time I’ve started ringing the taxi company to book cabs again
The ads partially obscure the screen. Since you are saving money by not having me ring the booking service can we do away with the ad banner at the bottom that obscures the screen.
The cancel button is prominent and very easy to hit accidentally.
‘But apart from that Mrs Lincoln how did you enjoy the play’
Obviously you neither mapped the customer journey before the design or tested this properly.
I will not trust my credit card to a company who does this appalling a job of designing an app.

Horrible update

Software doesnt work half of the time.

Horrible APP

GIANT step backwards. This new app is not improved but rather is total junk. Can not contact cab directly - cannot use app while on trip. Time estimates for cab arrival are typically off by a factor of 5. Why must I be forced to de-select promo codes that for some reason are automatically applied but don’t work for me? That is an insulting waste of my time. I have upped my GRAB usage because of your APP.

Entirely flawed

Can’t call the driver after he has “arrived” at pickup point because the phone icon disappears upon “arrival”. So, when the driver is at the wrong pickup point, good luck! Also, the new taxi tracking map is appallingly bad. Too small to read. Too hard to zoom. Annoying Taxi Info Bar that you can’t get rid off and unresponsive or delayed location of where the driver is. It’s as if the app developer was paid to try and make the app unusable.

Horrible update

- Wherever cab is, it just says ‘<1 min’, even if cab is far, far away.
- Sounds remain on even when all notification alerts are disabled.
- Map only displays on half the screen, too small to view.
- Whole lot of other bad UX. App is not properly tested before launch. Just plain terrible. Old version better.

Old app was significantly better

One of the reasons I use Comfort was for the better customer experience.

This app is a disaster:

- all my favorites are gone (why would the upgrade do that? Makes no sense)
- I can’t make multiple bookings at once (when I am booking for myself and friends, for example, or my kids)
- I can’t easily reverse a route (to book for the way home)
- I can’t actually see how long the taxi has taken from booking (in case the driver is lost and I need to give them a ring to give directions)

Now, while I’d never used grab regularly, I find I need to just to be able to book two taxis at once...

Horrible App

The person who re designed this app should be dragged out onto the street and shot. The app is so hard to navigate and even harder use.

I can’t believe this was even tested before it was launched. Typical of them to just try and copy the Uber app without putting and thought and consideration into it. Why it can’t realize where my location is even though I am picked up everyday from the same place to not being able to add more favorites is so stupid.

I hate this app.

Bad update

New update lost favorites, lost routes, lost Masterpass, and lost ability to call driver. All of these are essential features for me. Ask the UI is worse than before. When waiting for your taxi you are locked in one screen and can’t see anything else.

They must not have user tested this at all because it is really a bad update.
