Do Not Waste Your Money!!!
I bought the first round of bids to load my account. It was $38. Then I bid on some more bids and got them, but then I placed a large amount of bids into other items not realizing that every time you bid, you spend money. Then, if you do not win the bidding war, the money you spent to bid is simply gone. If you do win, you then have to pay the price of the item you won, plus you’re out on the money you spent on bids. I spent $78 worth of bids on items that I didn’t win, so I just gave them free money. It was my original understanding that if you lost the bid, all of your bids you put into the auction would be reimbursed, but this is not the case. You can only get your bids back if you pay the full retail value and buy the item you bid on. MAJOR SCAM!!!Developer Response

I thought I would try this for awhile but I should have remembered my last experience and/or read the latest comments from users. I was delighted when I won 3 auctions in the beginning - 2 of them for 1 penny. Yippee! However, after 1 month I finally realized that apparently they let you win in the beginning to give you the feeling that you might actually be able to win an auction fairly reasonably often. I did end up getting a watch I really wanted, but when I reviewed what I had spent on bids (it’s so easy to rationalize $7 for 50-60 bids isn’t it - especially when you win early auctions with only 10 or less) I finally realized that what I got was costing me way more than I would ever pay for things were I in a brick and mortar store. I also discovered that this is time consuming, addictive, and extremely frustrating. I had actually used the bid buddy to bid on an item I particularly wanted, only to lose out because it didn’t put my bids in before the deadline that cut off new bidders.
Additionally this app keeps freezing which means I actually have to keep restarting my device to get back in. Not sure how many times this also prevented me from winning.
Bottom line - yes I won a few things, one of which I really wanted, but this is too irritating to give it a better review. Too bad because I thought I would enjoy this.Developer Response

After seeing an ad, I played along and bought bids.
Understanding how these gimmicks work, I used those bids to run some diagnostics to confirm what I already knew. The past winners are mostly the same "people" (bots). They seem to have unlimited money and could care less what they spend on buying a product because they only exist to save the product from being a loss. They site says they are "audited", but you cannot view the audit results and have no way to legitimize them as an actual audit. Every once in a while they give a squirrel a nut to actual people to use them as their
"keep the fires burning" proof of winners. If you don't make a bid within the first $5.00 you are locked out. So expect the bots to bid early once to reserve the ability to run up the bidding later. If this app truly has the number of people using this app as it shows they do, the "winners" pool would be bigger. The winners that are always winning are spending money per bid with many bids, plus winning the bids. They would have to be extremely wealthy and stupid with their money. That's not a likely combination. I spent money to investigate before investing in this gimmick. After all, being SMART with your money makes you achieve wealth. Save yourself and play a game, you won't come out ahead.Developer Response
