  • Update (not good)

    Since the post below, they made one reply that didn’t fix anything and ignored my question about the possible problem. I followed up with the information they asked for and again raised the issue I’d previously mentioned. Coming up on two weeks now with nothing but silence from them. Either they are incompetent or they just don’t give a rat’s behind. if they haven’t fixed this in the next few days, I’ll try to find out how to contact the corporation. They really need to know how they are being represented by customer “service.”

    I have been enjoying Caribou, but they’ve really disappointed me with their customer service this past week. I tried to order a half-price deal, and it kept telling me that discount wasn’t available at that store. It did that at each store I tried. It sure seemed like a malfunction, because I’ve never experienced that previously on the app. But I also had to consider the possibility that Caribou is another chain that allows local stores to opt out of promotions. I hate when chains allow that. So I wrote to Caribou and asked them if this was the case. That was a week ago today. I have had zero response, unless you count the automated email that says they’ve received my message and will get back to me. That was a week ago. There’s no way something like this should take a week.

  • Caribou Life!

    I treat myself every day to some kind of coffee in the morning. It’s some thing I do for Me! So trust me, I’ve tried all the little coffee pop-ups. The first time I tried caravan was on a trip to Minnesota, when they came to Missouri, especially in Parkville I was so excited. So here’s the scoop quality I can always rely on getting the same drink. Every time I go no matter who makes it. That’s a great plus in the coffee world as you all now cleanliness no matter if I go outside or inside it’s always tractive the areas are clean, even the restrooms. I also love the fact that they have unique and great extras for you to buy. I have bought several of their cups mugs for other people that said they could not keep the coffee hot. My one friend is 83 and he’s drinking his cup for over 10 years smile! He tells everyone how great it is and how is the only thing that keeps his coffee warm. One of the bigger things to me is the fact in the world that we live in with there is so much negativity and people don’t smile like they used to. I can always rely on being greeted with kindness or at least you can hear in the voice that they’re happy you’re there and I love the way you were greeted at the window or when you go inside there is an aura of happiness and they smile. Thank you for making my day.

  • Worst app ever

    If there is a worse shopping app, I have not seen it. Drinks are sorted into strange and counterintuitive categories. In order to find a common item like an iced latte, I have to search for it and then choose a hot latte (because iced doesn’t even exist on the menu ) and remember to change the temperature setting. Oh, and I have to remember that temperature setting and change it before I’ve done my customizations because if I change it after my customizations, they all get wiped out and I have to start over . Common features are often broken, and you never know which one that will be. This morning, I actually had to call the store to schedule my pick up time because the feature was broken on the app. I’ve had rewards just disappear. Today the trivia reward showed up as an available reward that I had to select to actually get it. There’s a Starbucks near my house too, and it is starting to look like a really good option.
