The first few uses were great. When it’s fully charged it works just as expected, prints out fast and looks nice. Obviously not expecting the best prints but it works. Wasn’t hard to connect to Bluetooth and the app is easy to use. I haven’t had any issues with that. What I did have issues on is the battery of the printer. I’ll charge it overnight and when I turn it on it’s still not working. It’s not my charger because I’ve tested it on other devices. When it does charge up it doesn’t update on the app and it will still say it’s low battery. Very disappointing especially since you can’t use it while it’s charging. Great idea but this whole thing needs a lot of improvement.Show lessChicken199
Weird Graphics, Creepy Auto-Sharing.
Pros:
- The printer itself (purchased separately) does not require ink.
- Prints quickly.
- The paper provided is glossy and of a nice quality (including a peel-back that means my photos can all be turned into stickers).
- The small size is perfect for slipping into a purse or backpack.
- Profile customization on the app.
Cons:
- Everything prints distorted. Images are either stretched, discoloured, or both.
- By default, you can see what other people print! It is possible to set your images to private afterwards, but it’s something that I can’t imagine older folks would think to check for.
- Weird app overall. Slow and laggy, as I remember it.
Overall, it can be annoying but it is functional. I would recommend researching other options if you haven’t yet bought this printer.Show lessMikela_reads
Need Support
I’ve used the app and printer for several years and LOVED it. I started having issues in December 2021 and have been trying to get a resolution to the situation with no luck ever since. I can print just fine but the image isn’t in my feed and so there is no connection to the video. I’d very much like to see if I can get this fixed so I can continue to use the product. I’ve wasted quite a lot of paper trying to get this fixed.Show lessScrappinglady

Printer stopped uploading photos to the app about a year ago. I have made multiple attempts to contact via the email/zen desk details on the site but have never had a response! Doesn’t anyone even work for this company still?? There just doesn’t seem to be any way to get my issue resolved.

I let it charge all night, didn’t even turn it on this morning, and it’s dead
UPDATE: This printer only has one minor problem, and it’s the contrast. Other than that, it’s perfect. I was skeptical about this because of the majority of the reviews, but I love it. Idk what was wrong with everyone else’s printers, mine works fine, and the app is actually really easy to use, I definitely recommend buying this, it’s worth it!Show lessMusicFreak3376

Seemed liked a really great idea, I was already looking for Polaroid film. So I decided to upgrade my photo game. Beware:they make you sign up for some silly social media app just to print. Plus, you print one photo, and it takes forever (still waiting 30 mins in), to recharge to print another. Might return.Show lessMargaret303
Glitch
I love this printer and have used it often! But there is a glitch in it where the que will not delete after it’s done. I have downlod the app many times. 😞. Would love this glitch fixed!

Great Idea, Lot’s of improvement

I got my 2 printers for my birthday. I was in LOVE!! But, this app and printers could use some improvement.
What I like
I love the idea of printing out your photos and being able to make wall collages, store them forever, and use them as gifts.
BUT! The app AND printer is very frustrating sometimes.
The Printer
I do understand that the photos do take a while to print. But 5-8 minutes!? I don’t understand the wait. The printer also runs out of batter so quickly! I’ll have it at 100%, then after I print 1 photo, it’s down to 47% !? The photos also come out a bit wonky. My head gets stretched out, and it looks like I hit my head on a brick and played with it like slime. The printer out of 5 stars, I’d give it a 2. Out of 10, I’d give it 3 1/2.
The App
The app is hard to manage sometimes. The idea of making an account to print is stupid. Why would somebody need an account to print photos!? The app also glitches out, and I have to reset it. When a printer dies, it takes me 10 minutes to connect to my other one! Having a theme and a ‘main’ printer is stupid in my opinion. Out of 5 stars, 1 1/2 out of 5. Out of 10, 2/10.
My Overall Opinion/Review
Lifeprint has it’s pros and cons. It is a lovely idea to store memories and make photos albums. But the printer and app is just a pain. Out of 5 stars, I give it a 2. Out of 10, I give it a solid 4/10.
