Amazing…until it’s not
Please fix whatever bug is causing the app to crash before it even loads the Home Screen!!! Love the platform and it was perfect until the latest iOS update. Have made some amazing purchases….just time and patience and careful reading of specs, folks!…but am very frustrated that I’m getting notifications about auctions coming to a close that include items I have favorited and, yet, I can’t access them to bid.Show lessZoobalee
Inconsistent and marginal
The descriptions often show a lack of knowledge on the part of those writing the descriptions of what is being sold and the pictures often while pretty leave out important details and when picking up items, some are so heavily wrapped that determining if the item matches what was purchased is what one is getting and there are no condition problems requires extensive unwrapping. Also sometimes items are not there when you go to pick them up and the only compensation given was a refund.Show less&Gold

I have bid and successfully won several things on this App. Payments were processed. Nothing was EVER delivered.
The delivery address that I manually entered
In the app differs from the address that things got shipped to! Not knowing this I happily spent a boatload of money on cool auctions. I never received one item.

Picky but
App is great eye candy and works well and I’m thinking of buying. Only one complaint is categories. Glass & china collectors don’t want to scroll through coins & stamps. Other choices for finding glass/china aren’t quite right either: Decor or Dining/Kitchen. They should pull rugs out of decor to their own category or class as furniture. An absolute scam
I have won 3 items on EBTH and haven’t had a single one turn out right. The first 2 were a matching set that were listed as Amethyst, evaluated by a GIA graduate gemologist. When I got them in I could tell they were not amethyst, I’m not a gemologist but I am a diamontologist working with gemstones everyday and could tell it wasn’t reflecting right. I took the set to my jewelers where they confirmed they were actually treated quartz, a big value difference! Months later I gave this app one more shot, I won a pendant and was charged an extra fee for it to be expedited- then I had to reach out a week later when it had not been expedited or even shipped, and then again two weeks later when the person assisting me never followed up as promised. They LOST my purchase and waited until I complained two times three weeks later to refund me. Allegedly they’ll let me know if they find it but I’m not holding my breath. Stay away - horrible business practices
App works fine and they have cool things. After 28 purchases and over $6000 spent with them in the last few years, they finally cheated me. I purchased a bracelet they measured at 7”, however when it arrive or was clearly not. I measured with a tailor’s tape measure for accuracy and didn’t even measure 6.75”.
Tried to be civil and contacted customer service to return. They have a no return policy which I’ve had minor issues before but never actually sought a return. Since this was misrepresented I sent pictures of the measure. Almost a month later they just sent me an email that their gemologist measured it and they stand beside the 7” measurement. Doesn’t take a gemologist or mathematician to use a tape measure.

Item resell
I attempted to bid on an item years back, and forgot about it. Fortunately I saved the item to my watch list. A few months back I saw a similar item decided to bid on it and won it. My heart was filled with joy. App automatically got funds without my authorization from my card. While I waited for the item to arrived I decided to go back on my watch list and compare the two items to see what was the best deal. Come to find out it was the exact same item with same serial number of authentication. When I received the item description was not accurate. I contacted EBTH. Just to be turned down and short $2200.

Do NOT purchase jewelry from this company
HUGE SCAM. They say all of their jewelry has been certified. It has NOT. It took me less than 2 minutes with an appraiser with a simple gem pen to determine that what I purchased was fake. When I contacted them to notify them and ask for my money back, they denied. When I presented the appraisal paperwork, they denied. It’s so bad that I am considering a fraudulent lawsuit. Companies like this bank on you not taking it that far, because of what it will cost you to do so. Luckily I have a family member willing to do it pro bono. Users beware!!!! Great app for great finds
I’ve purchased several items using this app. I am addicted. I’ve bought several rings, toys, and coins. I have received all items in good order. I did have a little delay in the most recent purchase. It eventually showed up. Everything has been packaged properly and looks better than the photos. The descriptions match the items and I couldn’t be happier.Show lessHonestfan
Had app for 2 years and won’t open
I have done what I could on my end. After trying to open it 4 times and restarting my phone. The app won’t respond or open.
My phone is older.
I like selling, sharing with clients and participating in auctions.
