  • Awful

    It keeps saying to allow location services in settings on phone. There isn’t even an option for this app and location. Fix your app already! Always so slow behind others!
  • Software needs work

    The ring phone does not notify my phone of anyone by my door. It was working well until the last update of software. All notifications are now loss. I would recommend not purchasing items from Zmodo to use with an iPhone. They need to update their software to the latest OS system. Wake up Zmodo, I always liked your products, but now they don’t work

  • Simple with great resolution

    This thing was literally plug-and-play. Very simple to install and we have real time coverage at our home at the touch of a button. Would highly recommend.
  • Beware of meshare

    A few years ago I bought a zmodo camera. It was recommended I use Meshare for the cloud service. Later my needs changed so I got rid of the camera. I had no devices attached to the meshare account and when you log in to the app there were no clear or obvious ways to cancel the service as everything was blank. Well sure enough meshare took a payment from my account without any previous notice. When I disputed the charge they were more than happy to cancel the service but refused to refund the payment they unethically deducted which I am guessing prepaid for a year of service. I WOULD FIND OTHER CLOUD SERVICES OR BUY CAMERAS THAT DONT USE MESHARE! They totally the human element of business!!

  • Very fiddly to install but okay otherwise

    Lots of people seem to have issues installing the cameras and getting the meShare app to recognize them. I found a stupid workaround, but it does work. Download the Zmodo app here on the App Store. Login with your meShare account info. Add the camera on the Zmodo app using “Zlink.” Don’t try any of the other options, they basically never work. Once you get the to the final camera setup page in the Zmodo app with the continuous loading wheel, boot up meShare and see if the cameras show up. It’s worked 100% for me over ten reboots, and multiple router changes and app updates. Once you’re done you can delete the Zmodo app entirely.

    Three stars because no camera should be this obnoxious to install, but do they have decent functionality once you jump through all the hoops.

  • Camera

    We have three cameras. They work pretty good. My only complaint is that customer service could not help me get a subscription on my other two. One already has it. It says discount for more then one but no discount shows up. I’m not to happy with customer service. I’d like to add 2 more with discount if anyone can help me. Thank you.

  • Device is intermittently offline

    I’ve owned these cameras for almost 2 years. The first year they were amazing, worked without fail everytime. Now all I get is “device offline” most of the time. It’s ridiculous, it’s not an internet issues since I’m not having connectivity issues in any of my other devices. Only my meshare cameras. I hope they get a fix quickly for this or there’s really no point of using them. Crap service

  • Good for me

    I’ve had these (5) cameras for over a year now. I think they give very good visual. The sound cuts out a lot, usually an echo, but if you wait your turn to talk, fair.
    Sometimes the video is delayed. I don’t subscribe but I’m able to live stream. Most of the time they work great. If they lose connection, unplug & plug back in. They reset. They have a pretty wide angle so you can see an entire room. Night vision is great. They are not the easiest to hang I have all mine sitting up in tables or whatnot. Alerts are very good. And low in cost which I love

  • Works great but glitchy at times

    This app and the cameras have been working great for us. But recently the app will not open on mine or my husbands phone. It glitches and just shuts down before even fully opening. 😒 I would like to be able to check my cameras but if course I can't now.
  • Imagine paying money for an app that won’t even work 🙄

    This is exactly what you’ll be doing, they’ll want you to get a subscription, yet the app won’t stop crashing. So as your phone notifies you of motion, you cannot even get in to see what’s happening so it worries you. Every time I go to open it, the new “update” keeps closing out within 2 seconds. I tried reinstalling, trouble shooting and different phones......same problem. For a security camera to only work about 60-70% of the time and an app to have so many bugs, I recommend you go with something more reliable for such an import thing like home security cameras. My RING is much more reliable.
