Helps with my chronic illness!
I was diagnosed with a chronic illness the past year and have been struggling with exercise intolerance. I have always enjoyed yoga, but I was unable to do in-person classes for a whole hour due to breathing and heart rate issues. Downloading this app changed the game - I LOVE that I can change the duration and customize the practices, pacing, poses, etc. It’s so easy to use and I have started feeling better since doing yoga regularly. I’m so grateful to this app for making yoga more disability-friendly for people like me!

Amazing!
This app allows you to customise everything down to the time target area and moves that you want in your yoga session. It also suggests areas to target that you may have never even thought of. I always feel refreshed and calm calm after each session as it gives you the choice to do relax at the end. It’s perfect too for someone who has time Paul or someone who’s working from home. You’re able to do five minute stretches for if you’re sitting all day - or after a workout at the gym it has relaxation and stretching for over 40 minutes if required. Can’t recommend this app more!!!

Three+ years and still loving it!
I absolutely love this app! I started using it during the pandemic and have loved it from the beginning. I was a complete novice when I started, so also okay for beginners. I don’t like classes, so this suits me really well. Some may argue that I really need a yoga teacher to help me do poses correctly, but where I’ve struggled with poses I’ve just done a lot of reading about them, which helped a lot. Absolutely recommend!

Excellent app
My daughter told me about this app and I thought I would give it a try. I have mild trouble with scoliosis so i kept putting it off because I thought it would make the pain worse but instead it’s helped a lot. This is the exact type of exercise for someone who doesn’t particularly like exercise and is getting up in years and wants something gentle but effective. I highly recommend it for anyone, any age, any ability. The ap has so many choices as to the type of exercise you can do and is adaptable to levels and what your particular needs are. I highly recommend.

Such a great app!
Love doing yoga with this app. The poses are always different and just the right challenge. It’s great to be able to choose exactly the amount of time to fit around any schedule, plus customise the practise with so many other quick adjustments. Highly recommended!
Quite stressful…
I really want to love this app. When I downloaded it I was excited about the fact you can customise so many parameters - the length of your workout, the intensity and speed - and even include a strength section to the session. The nature of this much choice however means the workouts are not one fluid session from the app, rather they are lots of clips stitched together to form your workout. For me this proved stressful - as even on the slowest setting I would be halfway to the move given, and the instructor would already be in a completely different position ready to move on to the next. I found there to be little in the way of explaining what the yoga specific positions are or how to get there and have found myself shouting at the TV for the majority of my workouts - not very zen 😂 I’m certainly not a yoga veteran, but have done around 9 months with Apple Fitness yoga which I’m aware is a very different presentation - but the choppy nature of this brings me more stress than calm for me personally.

Finally I’m doing yoga again
After years off of doing yoga … this app has made it easy and simple for my wife and I to start our yoga practice again. Easy simple and uncluttered interface. Intuitive controls and perfect for what we need. Thanks for making it !
Down Dog Yoga
Having studied martial arts for years (I have two 2nd Dan black belts in different disciplines), I have always lacked my desired flexibility. Through unfortunate personal circumstances and poor mental health, I find myself VERY overweight and in need of lifestyle changes. Both my wife and I have committed to a stringent diet and shared exercise regime consisting of yoga and calisthenics (she doesn’t like karate or kickboxing…). We’re 1 week in and Down Dog Yoga is really fantastic! You can choose two priorities, we’ve picked flexibility and back strength… the program is fantastic! We both really enjoy the workouts, they are challenging yet accomplishable.. with a varied choice of focus, voices, music and much more! As an added bonus, there are other apps included in the purchase (which was about £50) including hiit, meditation, running and some more which I’ve forgotten! Hope you enjoy as much as we are!

Had it for years, wouldn’t choose any other
I have had a subscription to Down Dog for years now, and have used it off and on. I love that the subscription gives me access to all of their apps, and the variety within the yoga app gives me interesting, guided workouts at home. I hope to use it a lot more this year!
Loved this app
No longer free for healthcare workers but free for teachers and students. Go figure. The pandemic may be over but us healthcare workers are still in crisis mode. Please bring it back free for us frontline workers.
