New update recently
Whoever did the update forgot to add the contact for the therapist to see who they are doing couples massages with. It’s annoying please fix this so we know who we are working with in case they are late or don’t show up.
Got much worse
I don’t know about “lots of bugs squashed”, it worked much better pre-3.0x.
The app doesn’t make notification sound anymore, does not update “Check Out” status (3 hours after the end of the appointment it still shows active), does not sync past activity stats (one of my appointments from Oct just disappeared from the history like I’ve never done it), there are glitches trying to connect to your partner when doing couples’... just to name a few.
Given, the Android version of app is even worse, but that’s not much consolation. :(

A lot worse
As of right now the much touted upgrade is a huge flop. For the first time in four years, I actually had to contact the client to get clarification on an appointment. It had two names on top but the payout reflected a single massage. The appointments also didn’t show up in my calendar, which could’ve clarified things a little, as it should show either a one or a two appointment blocks. But nothing. Putting your availability on is more cumbersome too, the old system worked beautifully! Stop “fixing” things that work!!!!

Response from developer
Thank you for providing your feedback! Our engineering team has resolved this issue. In the meantime, please send an email to prosupport@soothe.com so that we can further assist you with your availability in the app. Thank you.
No knowledge of the client you’re dealing with
Clients used to provide first and last name but now they are able to get away with only a first name or a fake name. It should be the name on the credit card they are using. Troublesome clients try using an alias to trick therapists into accepting the offer.
Although clients have access to your own personal profile and reviews, soothe thinks it’s better for business to keep Soothe LMT’s completely oblivious to the customer and ratings and reviews about that customer from other massage therapists. What’s the point in rating and reviewing the client if none of the other therapists can see it?! The result is, LMT’s are hesitant to accept offers because they don’t know what they might be getting themselves into such as a situation where the client is extremely needy, doesn’t tip or pay for parking, the environment might be hot and miserable, or maybe the client prefers you to listen to political radio for two hours. These are all things that the LMT should be aware of before accepting an assignment.
The App needs to include a more transparent system regarding the ratings and reviews of clients and other massage therapist you might have to work with during a couples massage. The other pitfall is that the contact us option mostly leads to being put on hold forever listening to godawful elevator music instead of being able to get assistance from soothe when you need it.
This company had and still had great potential but the problem is the corporate office doesn’t listen to its workers when it comes to upgrading this app

It’s getting better
The app has improved over the last few years, there are a few bugs that I’ve called in about, and they’re working on them. I would like to see SOAP notes for clients, at least the ones that I write for my returning clients. Sometimes you don’t see them for months and it would be a nice reminder if you could read your notes on a client.

Cannot Register
Soothe for Therapists only has login option. No option to register. Using iPhone 8, 12.3 update. What’s the problem?
Better lay out.
The app is ok. I like that it improved since last I stop for awhile. But now the issue are minor but can be bothersome. Right now I am not seeing the instant confirming booking availability. Only seeing general offers availability. I really like the features of instant booking because you don’t have to bid or respond to an offer.

I have 4.8 stars from the costumers and I was there two years and 5 months
I'm insulted because I took an appointment and I was in the place with enough time and they took it from me they made me go there and I even got lost.

Greatly Improved
The app works smoothly now.
Clients need to tip.
I am certified massage therapist for 18 years. Soothe clients always said they have the best massage ever ,after receiving my therapy. But unfortunately they don’t appreciate it , just words. At least they could have tip to therapist. It’s hard work plus on top of that we drive ,we are on time , we are make sure our linens are clean every time , a lots of work and no tipping. From 10 clients 2 will tip. Everyone should appreciate to hand work. Other than that I love being massage therapist ,helping people, healing them ! Thanks
