Super Efficient Travel!!
I don’t travel in Illinois frequently enough to justify getting their EZ pass, so this app is perfect for me. Yes, there is a service charge (minimal) when you pay, but it’s worth it to be able to drive right through without stopping, not worrying about having change, and paying all at once.
Save time!
We were in the city for a sports tournament and another parent mentioned this app to us. It saved so much time and was very easy to use, track and pay! We would recommend this to anybody that is driving in the Chicago area!
Time saver
I’ve used this app on two road trips! It has saved us so much time. It’s easy to use too! Great app if you are only traveling to Illinois Tolls a few times a year. The tolls are cheaper if you pay for the I Pass instead of this app. There is a tollway bridge in Chicago this app does not work for. Maybe it was named the Chicago Skyway? Enjoy!

Pretty good option
I’ve been using this app for over a year and it gets most of the tolls. It has improved and this last trip recorded all of the open tolling tolls. I had to go through one smaller toll (drive at 15mph type) and alas it didn’t get that one. It seems hit or miss on the small tolls but is good on the large ones. I’ve seen improvement in the last year so I have high hopes that it will be consistent soon.

Paid?
I was going to rate this app as a 5, but after reading the review on payment not getting to IL, I’m concerned. Over Thanksgiving of 2018 I went to IL and a few months later I got a bill, complete with $20 fines for each toll, that said I hadn’t paid. I thought I had done something wrong using the app, or possibly HAD forgotten or whatever, although I am super conscious about paying tolls, and actually felt like I remembered paying them. Plus the app reminds you as well. So I appealed (I haven’t gotten the outcome yet). I checked my statement to send proof that I had paid, and the Thanksgiving tolls being paid were not there! I just went to IL again last week and the payments did show up on my statement this time, but I would say, check your statements! The charge should show up immediately (for sure on on a debit card) so you will know if payment went through. And if IL doesn’t get it, at least you have proof that someone named ‘IL TOLLWAY’ took money from your account. And last, I did try to pay this trip’s tolls on the road as soon as I crossed into to WI, and the payment pop up kept spinning and it did NOT go through. I tried again as soon as I got home and it did. So I think it works better In WiFi. I now think that is what happened over thanksgiving..... wasn’t in WiFi when I tried to pay them.

App Error
While I find the concept behind this app to be convenient for out of state travelers in particular, I recently received a violation in the mail for unpaid tolls. I spoke to a woman at Illinois tollways and she sees that I paid the majority of the tolls, but that the app for some reason did not register three of them. I now owe $60 in unpaid toll fees because of an app error. Needless to say, I’m frustrated and will not be using this app again. I would not recommend this app to anyone else!

Super Convenient!
So much easier than trying to remember my route when paying online, and less hassle than an I-Pass. Every time I pay online for the Illinois Tollway, I still get ticketed, the Illinois Tollway system stinks. But it’s easily fixed by calling into their call center to share my original payment confirmation info, I’ve never actually had to pay any of the incorrect tickets I’ve been issued. Really enjoying the convenience of this app.

Easy!
Great app and easy to use! Our family travels to Illinois often and it was slick to drive straight through and pay at the end of the trip. We didn’t have to dig for change or roll down our windows during inclement weather!
Easy to use for driving and payment
We travel to Chicago area 2-3 times per year. First time to use this app and very convenient. Popup notice lets me know it registered the toll lanes, (as I was concerned with missing one). After, using the app to pay the tolls took seconds, great value for small service fee, compared to manually entering everything on the Illinois state site. Highly recommend!

Had high expectations, I suspect too high
Though I find it very convenient this app can run add keep track of the tolls to pay later the integration with the state seems to be lacking. Even when I paid all tolls and received a confirmation (paid within 4 days) I was still suspect of whether that info would accounted for and figured to be say I would check the state’s unpaid toll after it hit 7 days or more to review by plate. Sure enough the same tolls I paid showed up as not paid so given the amount I paid again just to cover myself and try to make sure I do not get a violation. Even with that search offered on the Illinois website they still give no guarantee I won’t receive a violation. So I’ll continue to check but the next few days but given the trouble of making sure Illinois knows I paid (twice now) it would of been easier to go through and stop and pay. I recommend if you use the app be sure to follow up and pay a second time because there is too much of a delay or some issue communicating the info to the state.
