App doesn’t work anymore
Initially, when I purchased the product about a year ago, the app was working reasonably well. Now it works not at all. The dehumidifier is great and I do recommend their dehumidifiers but just get one without the Wi-Fi interface because the Wi-Fi interface is not useful without the app.
New app coming - No clear ETA
After making my own dehumidifier purchase, having my own trouble with the non-functional app, and finding the reviews here, I reached out to Abestorm support. This support address is printed on a full-color and large app installation guide when you unpack the dehumidifier. Support replied within 1 day and confirmed that the app is non-functional as the backend server is down and the existing app is full of bugs. They shared that a new app is in development but the timeline is TBD. Abestorm support did, however, open a ticket to notify me when the new app is available. So, zero stars for an app that works as advertised but 5 starts on a support response that acknowledged the problem and confirmed a path forward.

The app doesn’t work and they know it.
Abestorm the company knows their app doesn’t work and they do not care to fix it. They continue to sell app controlled dehumidifiers and advertise the functionality knowing full well it will never work. As long as they can sell units who cares, right?
Won’t send verification
So disappointed! $500 to a device that I spend an hour waiting for email to verify and never got it. I’m sending this thing back. Don’t waste your time.
