A nightmare to cancel!

I got this app thinking it would be great, I used it for 2 months than tried to cancel through the app email and by calling them, they couldn’t find my account it has now been 11 months and they just took another auto pay I called them they keep saying they can’t find my account and they hang up on me! Not recommended!!

Transfer time

I used to be able to transfer money to card immediately. Now it takes over a day to load which is an inconvenience

No Trump affiliation?!

Is acorn early affiliated with Trump in any way???
If yes! I will not participate in this project. I do not want to be a financial victim of that crook. He is Robbing the American poor public into oblivion.

Good luck logging in

When asked to move from GoHenry to Acorns, it took me over 10 times to create, recreate, verify, etc. to actually log in. Absolutely ridiculous

No interest

They dont give any interest on the savings account. So it defeats the purpose. Im sending my kids back to their bank. It was a good idea but without interest they are just stealing money feom kids and not teaching them. I dont get it. Oh well.

Difficult start

Seems great but when I try to activate the card it takes me back to the same setting to order a new one I have 3 now and still can activate 1

Scam

We put money on it and it logged us out and can’t get back in just too much frustration

Move from GoHenry to Acorn

Had GoHenry for years for my daughters and now trying to transition from GoHenry has been a mess. They sent us new Acorn cards that you have to activate and still after working for hours haven’t been able to activate card. Acorn app has also been buggy. Tried to uninstall reinstall and still doesn’t work right. Customer service was unable to help with activating card. Ready to close entire account and look elsewhere for teen accounts.

Money

Depsited money & can’t even use the money on the app until card arrives horrible feature that can be somebody last money to there name please change this allow a virtual card

Wish it did one more thing

Great app for paying out chores and allowance for my kid. Lessons are also wonderful, and I highly appreciate being able to customize so many things. I only wish that the auto savings/gifting (which I love) could be designated by percentage rather than a flat dollar amount.

Fee

It’s not bad teaching him how to save , fun games and activities. Having a fee for a kid account is a bit too much. My opinion

New member

Why has the money been allocated to my family account
It is still showing pending

Really wanted to like it. Compared to Greenlignt hard to use

Wanted to like this. Never received cards. When wanting to close account never heard anything. Now we can log in. $300 in limbo waiting to hear anything.

Teaching discipline

I really love this app and all of the perks that it has for my child. This is teaching him to be responsible and how to manage his money. It also is teaching him to have discipline and you’ll be rewarded in the end for doing your chores.

$8/month to auto deduct my kids' allowance from my card!?

Trying to cancel as I write this. $8/month fee plus you pay the interest on your kids' savings account. Other than the initial videos I fail to see any long term value here. Seems predatory and designed to prey on financially less experienced that are trying to improve their finance skill set.

Good!

Love this! My mom got it and I love the little lessons they have. It’s actually quite interesting
.

👍

Using the app is the best thing ever I can buy a bunch of things with my debit card and I am the kid talking it is the best card I have ever got and yeah that’s all I have to say

Grifters

Bad app, won't let 2 parents link together. App is forcing same kid with same social security to sign up for 2 different accounts. Company will keep the one with the most money. Best part is you can't even contact them.
