Why?

It is so hard to login 😒😒😒😒😒😒😒

Acorn

Amazing app for kids and a great way to trader funds from your account into your children’s. Amazing app 8/10

Multiple account linking can be improved

Adding more than one bank account, and labeling them properly is difficult or impossible. Small thing, unless you need it for multiple kids

Customer service

You would expect this so called bank for children to provide excellent customer service because they will be interacting with children, but unfortunately, they do not. They fail to provide any information. FYI, make sure your children do not make any default purchases.

Not Good but Not Bad/ Perfect for parents who want chores to be done!

🤍 I got this app because I wanted to earn more money. First it was super fun! But present time now, no matter how much chores I check off, I still can’t seem to earn any money on my paycheck day. Developer, please let me know how I can fix this!!🤍

Won’t refund money…don’t use this app

I rarely write reviews, but I feel I must share my experience to help other parents avoid this app. We had this app for several years and my kids are now older teens so we don’t need it. (Honestly after the first week or two they lost interest.) Regardless, I kept putting in an allowance every week for them and they had over $600 in the accounts when we decided to cancel the app. It’s been over a month and we still can’t get our money back! The first time I called they said it would be 3-5 business days. Then a week later they sent an email stating they needed my bank account information in order to refund our money from the account. (Initially they said it would be refunded to the card on file.) I reluctantly gave them that info and 4 phone calls later, and 3 more weeks have went by with no money returned to me. Yesterday I called again and they said they would have a manager call me by the end of the day. Guess what…still no phone calls! Please save yourself the hassle and don’t use this app! Your kids won’t get their saved money back!

I love the app make my life more easy and for my kids

I m don’t have to worry no more my kids with out money

Amazing

Amazingly so it taught my children to save and teach them skills that aren’t taught in school

Great app

Easy to use

Just Ok

I don’t love how only one parent can add or deduct from the parent wallet. I also have to create a parent code and enter it twice every time I enter the app which is annoying. The app itself works pretty well, easy to use for kids.

Pretty good, a few frustrating things

I love that my kids have a debit card and can look at their balance to analyze if they have money for purchases.
It is very frustrating how long it takes when depositing money into my account. Three business days seems to be too long. It should be direct transfer. Because typically I’m needing to fund my account to send my kids their money in the same transaction. Now I have to schedule out three business days a reminder and it usually takes three full business days.
The other irritating thing is every time I transfer money. It pops up and asks me to set up recurring transfers. I don’t want to that is why I choose know each time, it would be great to turn this pop-up off.

Cool

Baddest app ever

They charge you way too much just to use the app and it glitches out. Sometimes I suggest cash app for 13 and older.

Declines

My daughter has money in her account but still gets declined and at some stores . It does not work .

Pay Out

I Like The App. It’ll Be Better If Ya’ll Would Take The Money As Soon As I Send The Money Instead Of Waiting Days Later. Everything Comes Out Of My Bank On Autopay And Its Messing Up Mh Daughter’s Allowance Because Ya’ll Wait So Damn Long To Take It Instead Of Taking It Immediately.

Steal your Child’s Money

After Go Henry was bought by Acorns there was a $10 fee per month for the service. So we decided to open accounts through our credit union instead. Acorns makes it nearly impossible to get your child’s money back once it’s in the Acorn account. You have to withdraw it from an ATM. Even the ATMs they say they have a fee free relationship with will charge you per transaction and you are limited to how much you can withdraw at a time, so I’ll have to make several withdrawals and pay a fee each time. This is my 12 year kid’s money that she’s been working hard to save but now it’s being siphoned off by this company. Real nice, jerks!

Would recommend

It cost a lot of money but like I can’t afford to pay so but it is good for kids older than six years old

Login and Verify Bugs

Stuck in a recursive loop where MFA just keeps sending emails and opening the app but never sending code. Support team responded with unhelpful generic form letter. Cannot login or update account or cancel. Have to revoke authorization through the bank.

Acorns Early

I like this app because it’s it’s a good way for children to learn how money works
