I love this app….BUT
I would give this app 5 stars but it’s missing 1 usable feature that I really would love to have. Transaction search. When in something like the checking account section and I’m at looking for all the History, Pending or Scheduled transactions I would love to have a search field that I can search for transactions.

Zero stars!!!! Do not invest here, almost 2 months with the checking account blocked, due to a change of address, I sent my account statement as a requirement for them to visualize what my new address is and every time I contact them, they tell me to wait 1 to 2 business days, what a way to play with the money of those of us who trust in these apps to invest, my money blocked without being able to take it, ah but if they continued to withdraw weekly from my bank account to invest (they can no longer) ... what a big disappointment !!!! I want my money back
Updating More than two months waiting for them to unlock the checking account because I changed my address : Today July 22, 2026 I contact them again because last week I called them and they told me again in a business day they will solve, today a week later I chat with technical support and they tell me again that in a business day they will contact me ... This is a joke …tomorrow we will see what happens .. don't invest here !!!!

The checking account is garbage!
I've been using Acorns for my IRA and it's been great until I had $1000 deposited in my checking account and they decided to split in among my investments in my IRA and my savings without my permission. They could not give me answers now my money is not accessible, and I am gonna call the Attorney General and the Better Business Bureau and every possible place I can this is fraudulent. It's not OK. I needed that money and they decided to move it without my permission and they can't undo it very quickly either nor will they give me any answers. This is criminal.

I open acorn account and it’s a market yes blah blah. But I kept losing money, I lost about %32.4 of my money here and they took money subscriptions even though I already canceled my membership or whatever.

Redownloaded and charged me without asking
Got this back after a few years, charged me $3 without asking as a subscription using my bank acct info from prior years. Great business model definitely not fraud
Watch your charge
Emails came in almost daily telling me my account needed to be set up. I left it alone as I decided whether or not I wanted to use it. Monthly subscription charges started and with only AI there’s no “customer service” so I cancelled and lost out on the fee. No thank you.
Weekly Investment
My weekly investments are NOT working. This is the 2nd time I’ve checked my app and it has not been correct or accurate. This app sucks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thankful for Acorns
This app has helped me understand and develop a healthy relationship with my finances. I am grateful and continue to appreciate the new tools. I wish it wasn’t piggybacking on the investments of the most evil entities on the planet, but that’s what we all do. Are we the problem? Great oaks!
Disappointing Investment Experience
I gave it a try because it had good reviews. I kept my money invested with them for about a year, but in the end, it just wasn’t the right fit for me. When I withdrew my money, I ended up with significantly less than what I had originally invested. I understand that taxes and fees may apply, but I still don’t understand why the final amount was so much lower.
On top of that, there’s the subscription cost. After paying for the subscription and then receiving much less than I invested, the whole experience left me feeling like it was a scam. I’m glad I didn’t invest more money.
