Ever since the latest update the app indicates an unread message but one does not exist

This app, has some great features. The fact that it pops up about 40 seconds after I start my car interrupting everything else that is on my screen is so dangerous and so annoying. I can’t stand it. I need to make an appointment at Acura in order to take it down. Which is even more annoying
No Remote Start with Update
After updating AcuraLink to version 5.4.0 on August 7/8, 2026, the Remote Command Drawer disappeared from my 2022 MDX. My Remote subscription still shows active under Subscription Status, but Remote Start, Lock and Unlock are no longer displayed.
Fix it
I cant get rid of a service reminder from months ago that I already did. I get an error when I delete it so it’s still there and randomly pops up as a new message as if I never saw it at all. This happened with some other messages as well but eventually it lets me easily delete it. I don’t like the red notifications on my screen-

Unreliable at best
I can’t believe I paid for this. I subscribed when I purchased my 2019 RDX from the dealer I’ve taken a while before reviewing this app because I wanted to give it a chance but after six years I can honestly say I should’ve gone with an aftermarket system. I would say it works 70% of the time the other 30% Seems to happen on the days you need it most horrible weather days. I will say sending navigation addresses to my car works 90% of the time and the same with locking & unlocking. It’s the remote start feature. That’s a failure. Do yourself a favor get an aftermarket system and skip the aggravation. Of feeling like you purchased a dud.

Terrible update
App was updated today, doesn’t recognize my vehicle, which previously wasn’t an issue. Wants me to add my vehicle again. Can’t even sign out, spinning circle every time I try. Major fail.
Stopped working after forced update
App would not launch until it was updated. Updated app won’t even connect to the car.

Despite emptying my mailbox, the app still shows that I have one unread message
Constant Issues
I hate this app! I’m sick of getting the very frequent message saying they’re performing “maintenance” so the app isn’t working now. Also sick of the constant updates!
Bugs Galore
This app has more bugs than a bugs life. Constantly opens the app 15 times while driving even after closing out. You’re paying the yearly/monthly fee for literal garbage. Update: they updated the app and still no bug fixes.
Latest update broke app
Latest app update broke the app. Says services are unavailable and it removed my vehicle when I logged out and back in. Useless app if it doesn't work. Can't add car back due to service disruption.
Terrible for the ZDX
The old Acura EV app worked. This one doesn’t. The charge level information is never right. If you hit the refresh button it acts like it does a refresh but the data doesn’t change. It says refresh complete but the data is all wrong. The tire pressures are never up to date. Please fix this app so that it works lad good as the old one.

Do Better Acura
One of the most glitchy apps I’ve ever used. It maybe works 40% of the time and it’s always the extreme heat or extreme cold when it will not work. I’ve gone through 3 leases (about to be 4) and have had the unfortunate pleasure using this app year after year. Acura makes amazing vehicles but cannot figure out how to make a user friendly app with any consistency. It needs a major upgrade in the worst way. If they used only half of the technology their cars are equipped with, this app would be a selling point when going to buy or lease an Acura.

Updates
App works great when it wants to. For some reason it’s constantly updating and doesn’t give an update option on the App Store: I have to keep deleting and reinstalling the app for it to work. Other wise the functionality is good.

08/03 Update
The newest review took away all the convenient features. The overall look of the app is very cheap. They took away the ability to lock/unlock, remote start and turn/adjust on climate control. I also can’t look up my OnStar benefits or check when those benefits end. Very disappointed with this new update. If I could giv it zero stars, I would.

Quality degraded so much
Keeps asking me to add vehicle which has been added long back. When I add it keeps saying it already exists in my list of vehicles.
