It’s not that bad
This app gets a lot of flak but it works pretty well for me. Sometimes the server updates are inconvenient and I can’t remote start but overall this app does what it’s supposed to. I can use it on my watch, too.

Settings are limited
The app keeps automatically starting when I get in the car and there is no setting to stop it. There is no reason for it to do this. The app tells me I have a message in my inbox. This message is telling me that my subscription is expiring - my subscription is not expiring. And I get an error when I try to delete the message.

When I plug in my phone, I’m trying to put in directions, not use the AcuraLink app. Stop the auto launching!!!
There’s a ton of people online that hate this feature with no way to turn it off. Very intrusive.
Also, everything is still very slow when trying to send commands to the car. Many times a command says it fails, but it actually works. But you’re left out of sight of your car, guessing if it worked. Based on nothing but the app experience alone I’ll be buying something other than Acura next time

The worst
Acura Link is probably the worst app I have ever used. 95% of the time it doesn’t do what it’s supposed to and it takes forever!!! I hate this app but I’m forced to use it if I want to start my car remotely. I love my car but HATE this app.

But idk why they don’t provide widgets control and remote start scheduling features to start car on a specific time.

always an issue
This app always has an issue. as of 8/25 i’m unable to remote start from the app. it does a quick half a second load and nothing else
Mediocre app from a luxury brand
The app is good when it works, but there are several annoying bugs. If your phone is on (using any app) after about 30 seconds after starting your car, AcuraLink will automatically open and cover your map, music, or whatever app you had open. Sometimes the app won’t connect when you do want to use it. More than half of the time, the app won’t update to show your actual vehicle status. The app will sometimes say “unable to send command” when it actually did send a command. The app says my account is expired when I am automatically being billed each month.

Password
I’m always being logged out and making me reset my password. I’ll reset the password and 2 days later it says it’s invalid. Face ID Never works.
The worst app ever - buggy and useless
This is one of the worst apps I have ever used. The user interface is poor with limited functionality and the app is very buggy. The most recent bug shows unread messages even though there are no messages. It seams every update has new bugs so their software QC appears to be nonexistent. For such a big and respected company I am shocked and disappointed that they have such a pitiful app and have not switched to a better software development team after receiving so many negative reviews and customer complaints.

Very Glitchy!
Not sure if the problem is with the app or the ZDX, but it’s very unreliable. It’s very frustrating when it’s really hot outside and I’m trying to turn on the AC in the vehicle before going out to the vehicle, but I’m unable to. Also a lot of times I’m trying to check my battery percentage from the app, but I’m unable to because the app just won’t refresh.

Enough is Enough
This is by far the worst app I’ve ever used in any capacity. To the point, I’ll likely avoid ever getting another Acura again. The issues are:
This app doesn’t properly refresh on a daily and often needs to happen manually.
The auto start doesn’t always connect.
On the rare occasion it works, the auto start when it does connect will lock you out the car unless you take the key out the fob to unlock the door which then shuts the car off.
There are constant system maintenance updates despite the performance of the app continuously being horrendous.
You can’t update your email address unless you call them.
And on special occasions, your account will lock you out, force you to update your password, and still keep locking you out afterwards.
This app hasn’t seen an update in the 5 years I’ve had my car. Terrible.

Convenient but…
It’s very convenient but why does it come to the forefront when using my iPhone? I wish there were more features too.
Non functional
This app continues to be no. Functional 90-95% of the time. I’ve done all troubleshooting and nothing is fixed.
