Frequently doesn’t work
Annoying when I have to wait several minutes for app remote commands to work. Why am I paying?
Miserable app. Not good
App Auto opens when in car. Distracting and unnecessary. Read most recent reviews. No way app is apple rigged algorithm score. App is error after error. Acura threw this garbage to fill a checklist. Nothing works. Errors. What is purpose of remote start if the car turns off when press gas pedal! What a joke! Battery status is just an icon— no useful feature. Junk app just opens for no apparent reason.

Never works. Ever. Support is terrible and can’t fix issues. Never again.
Notifications aren’t real
I always have a red dot on my mail and no mail. Starting car takes long time to respond and pretty sure lock/unlock feature doesn’t work.

Acura is a joke
Premium brand? Not hardly. Before you know it Acura will be stripping your app’s functionality unless you pay more to subscribe. Want to remote start from the app? Nope! Want to lock the doors with your phone? Nope! Apparently paying their premium price off the lot buys you NO RESPECT. Do yourself a favor and avoid this fake-premium brand. They’re more thirsty than Hyundai.

Fine, don’t like how it opens automatically
The app itself is fine, the UI could use some tweaks, but I very much dislike how it automatically opens when you get in the car. I’m trying to connect to carplay, already very frustrated, and then it rips me away from it to…show me old information about the car that I’m in? Only qualm really.
Stop auto-opening the GD app when I get in my car!
Hey Acura dev team! What are you trying to do when you get in your car to go somewhere? Maybe you’re sending one last text before you hit the road, or opening up a map app. Maybe you’re opening a music app or starting an audiobook. Maybe you’re looking to see if you missed a call, or if an important email came through before you need to put your phone down and eyes on the road. Do you know what you’re probably not doing? Opening the car’s app which allows you to do and see basically what your dashboard allows you to do and see. It is soooo annoying to have this app pop open every time I start my car, inevitably interrupting what I was ACTUALLY trying to do. Fix it!!

App update took away all features
This app was recently updated and now when I login I no longer have remote start or unlock options. The screen just has 4 buttons and you can’t do anything.
App is trash
App never works I need it. Always under maintenance. To do anything on it is always a hassle
App Auto Launch is Annoying
When entering the vehicle while using the phone the app auto launches interrupting whatever the driver is doing at the time. There appears to be no way to stop this behavior. Please address this.

Works great now
Originally I was not happy with this app at all but after developer and Acura links customer service help, my issue is almost completely resolved. I updated my rating to reflect the great customer service I received! The app does what it needs to do.
Peace of mind
Having this AP is very useful and convenient, I really appreciate all the features, it is worth the price for peace of mind.

Auto opens app when ever start the car.
More unresponsive than responsive
If I’m trying to set the Climate for the car, I need to say yes not failed back to back to back to back. This could be a dealbreaker, whether not I buy another car from Acura.
Poor App
This app is surprisingly inefficient. Wrong information that does not correct even after deleting and reinstalling the app.
App Performance
I’ve been back and forth with this app. When it works, the remote control and security features are great. However, there’s a consistent glitch when trying to schedule maintenance appointments with the dealer — the page loads completely white and then freezes.
For a paid monthly/annual service, Acura should ensure the subscription runs without interruptions, especially for core features like maintenance scheduling.

Locked myself
I locked myself with my key in the car and got panicked. But I was browsing thru with Acura Link and found remote open. Thank God for the app.
Stopping popping up!
This app is fine for what it is but I cannot stand how it constantly pops up when I’m connected in my car. I closed you for a reason. I don’t need you opening up every minute. 😡
