Terrible bug issue
App showed Gate B30 for my Athens to Chania flight with no updates or alerts. I arrived at that exact gate well before the listed boarding time of 14:05 and there was no boarding activity for my flight — instead I heard a call for a Frankfurt flight. The app never pushed a gate change notification or any alert that something was off, and I ended up missing my flight through no fault of my own.
For an app that’s supposed to be the source of truth for gate/boarding info, this is a serious reliability issue. I’ve had to file a formal complaint with Aegean directly. Would not rely on this app alone for time-sensitive gate info.

Don’t make changes on app
I tried to change our seats on the App. It tried to charge me but I’m SA Gold. Then, it accepted payment and confirmed my seat locations. When I got to the airport, we had totally different seats!

Extremely disappointing customer service experience
A very disappointing experience with AEGEAN.
Following a booking mistake caused by an autofill error, I contacted the customer service team to request a simple name correction. This was not a change of passenger: it was the exact same person, with official identification documents provided as proof.
Despite this, AEGEAN showed a complete lack of commercial sense and flexibility. Instead of looking for a reasonable solution in a situation that was clearly understandable, the company remained strictly administrative and refused to provide proper assistance.
A company is also judged by how it treats its customers when problems occur. Unfortunately, AEGEAN failed in this respect.
I strongly recommend thinking twice before booking with this airline. This experience has completely discouraged me from travelling with AEGEAN again.

Watch for unexpected fees
Purchased comfort flex ticket because they show free changes on the website. I went to change my ticket to a later flight and they charged 30 euros. Scam! I want a refund! Will dispute this with my credit card for a refund.

Here is another bug fix for you: apparently if the flight is delayed (mine was for ~2hrs) you can no longer find the boarding pass in the app

The app doesn’t allow me to log in with my email because it says that there’s no account linked to it. Then I try to create an account and it doesn’t let me because it says that there’s already an account with my email. Then when I just try to find my trip as a guest, it cannot find it. The drop-downs menus don’t work, you pick a country and it selects another one. Terrible app.

I don’t think I would go again because the lounge if I have to go with layover is awful I was obligated to put my carry on bag with the luggage it was broken & the groups they created when you enter the plane is so disgusting

War ne gute App die letzten Jahre, schade dass sie dieses Jahr einfach kein bisschen funktioniert. Fehlermeldung nach Fehlermeldung. Egal ob bei der Sitz Auswahl oder beim bezahlen das ist wirklich erbärmlich und ein Armutszeugnis jeder 14 jährige kann ne bessere App mit bisschen KI entwickeln. Lächerlich. Selbst beim bezahlen kam einfach nur Quellcode als Fehlermeldung. Nicht mal eine normale Fehlermeldung, nur Quellcode. Wo sind wir hier gelandet? Jetzt sind die Sitze seit 4 Stunden belegt die ich eigentlich haben wollte weil vermutlich das gesamte System verbuggt ist. FIX IT

Very easy to use. App is simple. User friendly. Saves standing in line at Airport. Good assistance offered if you need it when checking in.
Note: Ground staff should be stricter about in cabin luggage.

OVERSIZED luggage should be put be put in the hold before customer gets on AC.
