Old standards

Need an update to calculate based on the new 2026 standards

Response from developer

Done! Version 3.0 is live and fully rebuilt for the 2026 PFRA, including HAMR, hand-release push-ups, reverse crunch, plank, and waist-to-height ratio.

Out of date

The app is not up to date. Charts and scoring are from pre 2020.

Response from developer

You're right, it was. Version 3.0 replaces the old charts with the 2026 PFRA: 2-mile run, HAMR or walk; push-ups or hand-release push-ups; sit-ups, reverse crunch or plank; and waist-to-height ratio.

Get Rid of it

This app is outdated

Response from developer

Fair. It was outdated. Version 3.0 is a complete rebuild for the 2026 PFRA, with no ads. We'd love a second chance.

Not up to date with new standards

This tool is useless in its current form until it updates to the new standards.

Response from developer

Agreed, and it's fixed. Version 3.0 is a full rebuild for the 2026 PFRA with every event option and waist-to-height ratio scoring. Please give it another try.

FAQ

What does the Air Force PT Test app do?

This app helps USAF service members quickly calculate their scores for the Physical Fitness Test. It covers the four main assessment areas: aerobic (running), body composition, push-ups, and crunches, providing scores based on age, gender, and performance metrics.

What are the key features of this PT test calculator?

Key features include scoring for the one-and-a-half mile run, body composition (tape test), one-minute push-ups, and one-minute crunches. It also supports alternate cardio events, accounts for elevation, and allows users to log their scores to visualize progress with graphs.

How is the app monetized?

The app is free to download and use, but it offers in-app purchases. This suggests that some features or advanced functionalities might be unlocked through optional payments.

Is this app official or compatible with all Air Force members?

While the app strives to match official USAF standards, it is not an official application. Users are advised to consult an updated AFI (Air Force Instruction) when in doubt. The app is designed for USAF service members.

What information is needed to calculate PT test scores?

To calculate scores, you will need to input your age, gender, and specific performance data for each test component. This includes elapsed time for the run, abdominal circumference for body composition, number of push-ups, and number of crunches performed within the allotted time.
