Poor communication
The payment site crashed and I got a call asking to pay via the Amadeus platform. I did and have still not received a booking reference and confirmation. The AI chat account is useless.

Keyboard doesn’t work in iOS when trying to pay. Literally the worst.

Even after signing in with the Maharaja club FFN, the app asks for the FFN in the final steps. So the booking is lost while you retrieve the FFN

This is a disgusting, terrible, joke of an airline.
I booked Chicago to Bangkok through Air India and all flights were operated by Air India themselves. They then cancelled and “rebooked” my itinerary 4 separate times.
- 1st time: fine whatever, longer trip but okay
- 2nd time: same thing as the first time, but I got over it
- 3rd time: now have me a ZERO MINUTE connection at JFK and had no answer as to what do to
- 4th time: trip is now four flights, compared to the original two, and my fly from JFK takes of a day before I get there - nice, makes sense
I have been in contact when them for weeks trying to get an itinerary from Chicago to Bangkok, but they now tell me they can ONLY GET ME FROM JFK TO BKK. Knowing all well that I paid for an entire trip from Chicago. They have offered nothing in return for the disgusting amount of involuntary changes and the ruining of my itinerary.
Will NEVER even consider this joke of an airline and I will be passing this on to everybody I know.

You have so many seat available if family members traveling together you must offer two free seats next to each other. I pay for it, but I’m trying to change your seat because you have so many available. I’m trying to book it at the front dial now and you charge me again which is not fair.

AI has improved manifold times after Tata has taken over. The aircraft from Toronto to Mumbai was new and very clean. The staff were very courteous. I have travelled in many business class and first class but this one I would rate amount the top 10 airlines.
