The app is still a little hard to get to work. I had to turn my phone off in order for it to hook up properly, which I didn’t know would solve the problem.

Great prices and good reception

Used this many times in the last couple of years. Great prices, beats the hell out of whatever your network provider can offer you. My go to travel sim service.

Favorite eSIM atm

2nd time using this eSIM in Indonesia. Both times on Java island in the west and central parts of the island. I’ve hand no issues with the service at all. My favorite travel eSIM atm !

FAQ

What is an Airalo eSIM plan?

An Airalo eSIM plan provides you with mobile data, call, and text services. You can choose from prepaid local, regional, or global eSIM plans to get online in over 200 countries and regions. The plan includes a specific amount of data valid for a set period, and you can top up or download a new eSIM if needed.

How much does an eSIM from Airalo cost?

eSIMs from Airalo are affordable, starting from US$4.50 for 1GB of data. The final cost depends on the amount of data and the validity period you choose for your plan. There are no hidden fees, ensuring transparent pricing for your global connectivity needs.

What devices support eSIMs?

Many modern smartphones and devices are eSIM compatible. You can find a regularly updated list of eSIM-compatible devices on the Airalo website. Generally, newer models from major manufacturers support eSIM technology, allowing for digital SIM installation.

Can I use my regular SIM card with Airalo?

Yes, most devices allow you to use your regular SIM card simultaneously with an eSIM. This means you can keep your primary number active while using an Airalo eSIM for data or local services in your travel destination. You can easily switch between them as needed.

How do I get connected with Airalo?

Getting connected is simple: first, install the Airalo app. Then, purchase an eSIM plan for your travel destination. Install the eSIM on your device, and once you arrive, turn on your eSIM to connect to the internet. You'll be online in minutes without needing a physical SIM card.
