Doesn’t work
Connects to 5g allegedly but doesn’t actually connect to data. Waste of time.
More hype than reality
Followed the spec, getting the package that ticked all the boxes spent the day walking round the RC ship with no connection. The only conclusion is that, in this day and era where cruise lines aim to monetise wherever they can, the cellular is hidden or disconnected so you have to buy the ships WiFi package.
Top tip: manage without ( like the old days) and get free local wifi in a on-land bar or cafe or get a land-based roaming eSIM for a fraction of the cost

Setup
I was able to load the eSIM to my iPhone, but it was grayed out and I could not select it. when I contacted GigSky for help the message I got after waiting for a while was sorry we can’t help you right now.

Disappointment
This service is the worst I’ve encountered. When on vacation you need data to navigate your way around a strange city and your eSIM stops functioning you realize you get what you pay for. This was a so-called “perk” from my credit card company. When it stopped working I was in London trying to find my way back to the hotel. Finally figured out how to get there on my own. Spent 3 hours chatting with three different support people who could only ask me to do the same things. Finally I just gave up and bought the expensive but reliable package from my wireless provider. If you want a worry free vacation this is not the app to use.
