Error : 5321 for the last several months

The app has been totally nonfunctional for me for the last several months. I tried contacting support, they still haven’t been able to figure it out. they even tried to close my case but still haven’t fixed the problem. 1 star, would give 0 if i could.

App meltdown

Worked great for 3 months. Ow giving communication
errors. Won’t even let me log out. Useless

Individual Auto Useless Via App

While I like the mini-split, I don’t ever want to use the physical remote. I’d prefer using an app. The problem is this app interface is very poorly thought out. They give you access to “Auto”, which is the equivalent of Individual Auto on the remote, but Auto mode has two temp settings. A Cool/AC temp and a Heat temp. On the remote in can choose both temps. The app only allows setting the Auto AC temp, with no control of the Auto heat temp. That makes it useless. On top of that, if you’ve set both temps via the remote, the app shows the correct AC temp, bug is always blue (cool) and never switches to red (heat), so you can’t tell from the app what the unit is actually doing.

Look at how poor the reviews for this product are and save yourself the headaches, DON’T BUY AN AIRSTAGE PRODUCT.
I can’t connect to my system from the app. I tried contacting customer support, they keep saying I have a VPN, but I’ve verified I don’t have a VPN! BUYER BEWARE!!!

Splits fell off the network and won’t reconnect

The device fell off the WiFi network and isn’t reconnecting. I looked in the app and the FAQ and there doesn’t appear to be any mention on how to restore functionality. I tried contacting support and still haven’t heard back from over a week ago. BUYER BEWARE!

Horrific

I had to first make an account, and verify my email. But then to control my AC unit, I need to connect it to my Wi-Fi router. Why does my AC need Wi-Fi access? I should be able to use it with a simple Bluetooth connection. I’ll have to buy a new remote.

Reliable, Easy

Ignore the low star rating, this app works flawlessly, easy to use too

Simple and pratical

It’s very easy to connect and it’s doing what’s is supposed to do. I really love it, and prefer use the app instead of the remote.

The only bonus who would be nice it’s to integrate in HomeKit or the app Shorcut, so we can use it with Siri or see it in the home app.

I will be a very nice gift if you do it :)

Pretty good

It would be better if all units could work with it. Right now I have to use another app (AC Cloud) for my floor unit.

No complaints

I’ve honestly had no complaints. I was a little put off by the low rating but it pretty much just works. You change the temperature. Give it a second to do its little spinny circle thing. And done. No complaints gets the job done and I prefer it to the normal controller

Broken

Keeps saying there is no internet connection (which there is) and requires logging in every time you use it.

The worst garbage & limited capabilities

First of all, I want to say that I am a licensed HVAC contractor and also installing contractor for Fujitsu mini splits. I purchased this for Air stage system based on a reliability and a reputation of Fujitsu and after spending over $2000 on a 2 ton mini split. I come to find out that they changed some of the features, or should I say eliminated some. The air handle unit does not display the current room temperature. The remote app that comes with the unit does not allow you to set a heat setting and a cool setting separately. You would think that you would be able to set the heat setting of let's say 60° and a cool setting of 74 Degrees and put the unit in auto mode and it will maintain those temperatures but it does not. Since the unit wasn't able to do that with a remote control that came with it. I called Fujitsu and spoke to tech support and asked them if I purchased the wireless LAN adapter and used the Airstage mobile app, Would I be able to set a cool and a heat setting independently. They told me it was possible. I'm gonna tell you it's not possible and I wasted an additional $120 my cost trying to get a normal heat cool auto setting.

Fujitsu come on now. Update your AIRSTAGE Mobile app to allow separate heat and cool settings like your wired stat.

It's annoying that if you set dry mode to 72 when you switch to heat it's set at 72. No independent settings that save for each mode .

I should have bought an Amazon mini split for half the price!

Sleep Timer

Please can the Sleep Timer function be added for AC? I would prefer to just use the app but I can’t as it doesn’t allow me to set a Sleep Timer like I can on the remote.

Hindsight

This app is spotty at best. You have to disable a VPN to login and it doesn’t integrate with apple home. I would purchase another system in hindsight

Totally Unreliable!

This app is absolute rubbish. It works one minute and not the next! Doesn’t recognise log in passwords and locks you out!! 🤯

Unusable after update

After update there is no option to do anything. The unit seems to exist in the app but I can’t actually do anything at all in the app except delete the unit.

Easy and simple to use

Easy App to navigate

Nice app but has major faults

Have found numerous bugs, from causing indoor unit to heat room when room temp is already higher than set temp. Also setting issue eg energy saving fan, even tho it is selected it is not being activated. Turning setting off and on again makes it engage
Makes me wanna take out the wlan adapter from my split unit

Broken

Worked well for months but the latest update April 2025 is awful. Apparently my phone has no internet connection (rubbish) and when it did work I was required to sign in 3 times in one day.

Update: Google sync fixed

Since original post, fixed Google sync… remove the devices from G Home and re-add, all good now. App is great for scheduling and manually setting temps or turning on/off. For basic features, much better than the ridiculously convoluted remote control (and its terrible range). The interface with the Nest hubs is perfect for my older parents who are no-frills. Though they are a pain during initial setup, the wireless LAN modules are worth the price for me.
