When can we expect an iPad optimized version of this app? And while you’re at it, a rewrite with a refreshed UI would be in order.
Lack of customization
The app keeps asking for my camera and there is no way to turn it off. App is also slow to respond

We use in our community and it’s fantastic. We have several useful features: the app you can give specific time access with numeric code or scan QR code, the person can also call you and you can open gate, you can open gate if you are in another car and it gives you access to view in camera who’s coming in. Oh I forgot, it can scan your face to let you in. It is a very versatile software/app. I love it!!!!

The app simply is broken and has tons of bugs

Clunky app. Could be much smoother and more reliable. Also a bit creepy with the amount of phone permissions it “needs”, like nah you don’t need access to my full contact list…

Constantly offline and no way to contact them. This has to be the worst service in existence.
Works Great for Our Family
This smart intercom app is incredibly reliable and perfect for family security. Live view and visitor notifications work smoothly, and temp keys make access easy and safe. The motion detection and monitoring features give me real peace of mind, especially with kids at home. Very user-friendly and convenient to use every day.

This app is seriously so user-friendly, and I have to rave about its call-to-unlock function—it’s become a daily lifesaver for my busy routine.
Just last week, I was buried in back-to-back work meetings at the office when my mom texted saying she’d arrived at my apartment building with homemade meals. She’d forgotten her access card, and I was stuck in a crucial discussion with no way to dash downstairs to let her in. Normally, this would’ve meant her waiting around for an hour until my meeting ended, but then I remembered this app. As soon as her intercom call popped up on my phone, the clear video interface loaded instantly—I could see her standing right by the door, waving at the camera. After a quick chat to confirm it was her, I tapped the unlock button once, and that was it. No extra steps, no lag, just smooth, instant access.
The operation is so straightforward, even someone who’s not great with tech could use it without a second thought. Remote door opening has never been this easy, and I can’t imagine going back to the old days of rushing around to let people in anymore.

So slow
The device is amazing in all that it can do but it is hampered severely by the slowness of the app. When you hear the doorbell there is a mad rush to open the app and respond before the caller gives up and walks away. The app is very slow to open and by the time you are able to respond to the caller, 90% of calls, they have usually left!

Excellent SmartLock, Great User Experience
Love this gate access app! Its SmartLock is excellent—fast response, zero glitches. The interface is intuitive, delivering a great user experience. Worth every star!
Consistently Buggy
Tapping on the app when the door bell rings is supposed to display the video capture from the camera. That doesn't happen. Instead, we get a black screen. The point of the video feed is to see who's ringing the bell.
Eventually, when the video feed finally appears, the buttons to unlock the door disappear. Can't tap on anything to open the door. The result is that the person ringing the bell keeps pressing the door bell button.
The door bell keeps ringing indefinitely after the door has been opened and closed.
This has been going on for several years. Every new release of this app seems buggier and even more broken than the previous one.
Yet, we are being consistently reassured of improvements and bug fixes in every new release.
I have yet to see a bug fix or improvement.
If I could give an example of how not to write an intercom app, this app would be my first choice.

Annoying shortcomings
App gives false confirmations (failed opening). QR code feature not supported. Temporary codes actually need # before and after 8 digit codes. None of this vital information is shared on auto generated text messages. Cannot easily set dates for temporary codes.
