Worst bank i will spread the word
Slowest bank!!! They take forever to process your transitions so im leaving this bank!!!!!!!!!!! Also, Their communication for customer assistance or resolutions is poor! Their banking process is slower than most and unnecessarily complicated too! They do not consider or appreciate customers and i am leaving this bank!!! Waited weeks to be updated in a banking issue and i called several time and still the issue wasnt resolved neither they communicate the solution because they never resolved the issue!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I will spread the word im my experiences with them and their "customer assistance".

Ally Bank Has Disrupted My Business Workflow Negatively Impacting How My Business Grows
Not able to connect Bank of America business bank account even though I had it connected previously. I reached out several times to Ally about this and they said their team would reach out to me to fix it. It’s been over 3 months and I have not heard back at all. I am also unable to connect my Bank of America business bank Zelle…I reached out about this to Ally! I was told I would receive a call back for deeper trouble shooting. It’s been over 3 months and no call back.. Because of this inefficiency, Ally bank has disrupted my business workflow and created more work for me in terms of how my business collects revenue. Ally Bank often has technical glitches/deficiencies and I do not banking with them until they show they are as efficient as the other more sustainable banking institutions

Amazing Bank!
I have been a customer of Ally.com since the 90s! It was the best banking decision. I do not pay checking account charges or ATM fees anywhere in the world. Their customer service has always been attentive and professional. Highly recommend Ally.com!
Horrible customer service
After talking to customer service I was told I can deposit a check and have it available the next day. Unfortunately that money was split into three different amounts that would be “available” Day 1, Day 2, Day3-5.
This was not true at all! I attempted to wire that money after day two with my “Available” funds. After being on hold for a half an hour and then disconnected on their end, I had to start the process all over again.
Now back with a new (grumpy) gentleman, customer service stated they would need to call the bank to verify those funds first. So… apparently they aren’t “available”?
When Ally customer service called my bank (supposedly) they informed me that my bank was unwilling to verify those funds. So, Ally LOCKS MY account and puts it under investigation. I called my bank (that they supposedly called) and they had no issue verifying. Now after two hours, I’ve called my bank and three way called ally to verify. Now that my account is locked, no one will help me… All because ALLY called the wrong number to verify.
Now I’m screwed out of my account for the week and screwed out of an investment. They lost me money…

I don’t regret to open checking acct, saving acct, and CDs with Ally.
Convenient but Slow
I love the friendly customer service and extended hours. I don't like waiting two business days since Ally doesn't support Real-Time transfers between other institutions, like other banks do. And I hate the very low Zelle daily maximum.
Mobile Check Deposit
Every transaction has always been smooth with Ally. Yet the mobile deposit aspect of the app is horrid. It kept telling me the check amount was incorrect with the entered amount above typed at the top. Yet it wasn’t! I tried twice and gave up. I instantly went to the bank that we are leaving for Ally, and it was perfect. No problem. Same amount, same procedure. Please fix your mobile deposit glitch on the app. It is very inconvenient. Thank you.

Ease of use
Ally online is so easy to use and understand. Transfers are faster, my money is safe, and I earn more interest than most other financial institutions. Highly recommend Ally!
Horrible service
Horrible customer service! Closed my account do to inactivity when the account was less than two weeks old and a transfer was pending. I would encourage anyone looking for online banking look elsewhere.
Invest app support
Cannot fully manage investment accounts from the app. ie you cannot manage recurring transfers to invest accounts and/or they will randomly skip or disregard changes you’ve made on the desk top

Everything takes forever and customer service is horrible
App struggles to load
Just opened an account with them. I’m thinking of closing it only a month later due to how horrific the app is. Stuck on login screen frequently, and once I’m in it takes sometimes up to 10 minutes for the account information to load.
Information and control of my Money
I appreciate that I can do most of my banking on my mobile. Ally has been a really great bank for me!!

the ALLY APP is easy to use and functional allowing for easy lookup transactions my only dislike is the inability to cancel or edit reoccurring transfers
