Iffy About this Bank
I came to this bank in hopes of having a great experience with a new online bank. It’s starting off bad. They gave me $50 when I maxed out my deposit money of $4k within a 4 week period as required via their recent promo for opening a new account. It was supposed to be $400. So that’s already a sign that they’re not truthful to their promotions.
Only reason I opened this account was because of the higher yield % compared to Ally Bank at the moment. I may have to end up closing the account. After this 6 month period of 3.8%.

Awful Customer Support
See the most recent reviews of this app, they all bad, if you are thinking of joining Sofi, DON’T do it. The app is user friendly, however, I got a transaction I didn’t recognize for $1.4k and they didn’t do anything about it. I disputed it but they decided that my case wasn’t strong enough after weeks. I have never had these issues with any other prior banking.

Lots of ads and can’t search transactions
Kind of annoying to get pushed services when you’re trying to check your balance or move money around.
Another thing that’s never been fixed is the ability to search your transactions. Always says “We’re checking on it”. I’ve delegate reinstalled several times but still no go. Just want to be able to search my account without scrolling forever.
