Perfect for Elderly Parents
We send pictures to this frame remotely so our parents can see pictures their grandkids. They like watching the slideshow. This seems easier for them than seeing them on their phone.
horrible app
i bought the frame went to plugged it in and i cant even sign into the god awful app without it telling me my email is already used or my username that i typed in is already used, no idea who made this app but they should be ashamed total waste of my money
Worked Perfectly Fine
Uploaded pictures both plugged in and wirelessly. Up to about 100 photos now and still working great.
Do you love your family?
If so, please don't buy this. You'll only see them when the software decides it to be so, and then when it does, it doesn't follow the schedule you set. So while you snooze through the night it'll be gladly revealing your memories, then as soon as you wake up it'll shut off because why not?
Really?
Bad app design and function. Compared to the dozens of apps we use everyday, this one rates at the bottom. It’s as if the designer never had to transfer photos from an iPhone to the frame. Worse than watching paint dry. I give it 2 stars because the frame itself is quite nice. Frame interface is not great but once you figure it out, the number of clicks recedes.

Issues
I love the idea of this frame and the app but it is full of issues. Sometimes you can send photos through email and they’ll show up on the frame other times they don’t show up. When you use the app to send photos to the frame, they sometimes don’t show up. Sometimes some of the settings work such as the light detection, or the sleep function and other times they don’t work. I will definitely buy from a different manufacturer and get rid of this one. Don’t waste your money.

Brutal
This app is just bad all around.
If you must use it, make sure you:
1. Connect the app to your frame
2. Accept the request on the frame
3. Refresh the devices on the app
4. Now select photos because you can’t select a device after selecting the photos for some reason (poor programming)
If you want to see a zoom in of a photo, it works fine. Just DO NOT swipe down to get out of the zoom in as you will lose all of your selected photos progress (poor programming)
If you select a large number of files, be patient. There isn’t a progress bar or notification to tell you something is happening. I waited 10 seconds and thought it wasn’t working so I added the photos again, only to find out I was going to send the same ones twice.
The frame seems to work fine, but this user experience is very frustrating. Please do not give this frame/app to someone who isn’t technically savvy.

Functionality needs improvement
It’s difficult to navigate and you should be able to see photos that have been loaded already like in the app of another competing smart frame. I can’t recall every photo uploaded and don’t know if someone else has already uploaded the same photo so it’s difficult to know which photos need to be added as the frame does not live in our home but the the home of my in laws.

Worked less than a year.
I loved the frame until it just stopped working less than a year of owning it. Turns on and then only shows a black screen. Have tried to reboot several times.
We should have better tech by now
I’ve only had this a couple days but the app has already glitched multiple times and is just poorly designed in general. You can’t edit any settings on the smart frame through the app, you can pretty much only upload photos and videos and that’s it.
If you want to delete a photo you have to do it on the frame and from my understanding you cannot change the order of photos, also I tried using the “folder” feature but can’t seem to figure out how to add anything to it. I think we’re going to return it and get a different brand.
The quality on the frame was great though! I liked the size too.

Functional if patient
Ok the App doesn’t load multiple photos without freezing at first. I loaded 1 then 2 at a time and it got better and better. Last load was over 9 at one time and took 10 seconds to load. I think it learns as you go perhaps so be patient. I couldn’t get App to bind frame only because I didn’t follow the directions. Then it was easy. Nice looking frame.

Immediately disappointed
I purchased frames for my parents and in-laws for Christmas. Setup was easy for the first phone, annoying but doable for the other ones. But now that I’m trying to send pictures, the app glitches and just restarts the entire process. You have to upload only like a handful at a time for it to work, then you have no idea what has been uploaded or not because it shows to record of it. Hope I don’t upload and private content to my wife’s parents wall! Echoing many others, app is bad and even at the low price point, it should be unacceptable to the company. Skip this if you have another option.

Frustrating app
You’re supposed to be allowed to push up to 50 pics at a time, but the process will fail or freeze multiple times, even when only trying to send 10-20. The real frustration comes from the fact that the frame actually imported the photos the first time…meaning the subsequent times you sent photos to the frame are all now duplicated, or triplicated, or worse. The real fun? You can’t managed the media on your frame from the app! So when you have to delete the doubles/triples on the frame, you have to do it from the frame, not your phone!

Needs work
They’re trying hard but still pretty Garbage app. You have to manually select 50 photos at a time then after confirming it forgets the 50 and you have to reselect the 50. Can confirm the same issues others are reporting also.
Bad interface
I bought two for Black Friday and was shocked the features don't allow you to manage pics on the devices from your phone. It's a one way sending app. And hard to use. I sent 2 photos to the wrong frame and cannot delete them as it is wrapped as a gift and I don't want to unwrap it to delete them from the frame. Cannot delete from app like the aura competitor ($50 more). The lower cost means a lower quality app. Hope they release new features soon because this was extremely difficult to set up. Aura was complete in 15 min, I'm 2 hrs into setup with these Aluratek frames before wrapping. It’s just barely good enough to not return to Best Buy.

App could be better
Easy to set up but app is clunky and doesn’t have features you would expect, like sending a whole folder at once. I’m disappointed to read in other reviews that the email function isn’t working.
Email password
I had to give them my email password and now I’m completely blocked out of my email. No idea why I had to give them my email password either. Spent the day trying to reinstall my email to my phone to no avail. Kind of a nightmare.
Unbelievably Terrible- Returning ASAP
Downloaded the app. Test loaded a few photos. That worked. Then went to add more photos and the button to add photos is now gone. No way to add more new photos. Unbelievable. How is this product still being sold?
Awful!
Don’t ever waste your money buying this product, it’s garbage! Screen will stop working in less than a year, reboots and “factory resets” won’t work, along with “firmware updates”. App is probably worst than the actual product. Money down the drain. Thanks!
Frustrating
It’s impossible to get new photos to upload . It always says success but the photos never show up.
Can’t even complain about it because my husband gave it to me and I don’t want him to feel bad.
