App Quality Turned Sour
Auto login is broken and the app is just a very poor view of a webpage that doesn’t even fit your device screen. Needs improvement severely.

Terrible Experience
I would not recommend this app whatsoever. I sat in the waiting room forever and none of the doctors seemed like they were available. I would recommend using a different app.
Ear & Travel
I’ve been traveling and had a bloody discharge from my ear and was concerned because I had to continue flying The physician quickly diagnosed. It was not an infection rather it was built-up earwax that needed to be cleaned out, either on my own, or I could go into a clinic to have it done. I was able to go into a pharmacy and get a kit and took care of it and all is better. Great service and great physician.

Exactly what I needed
I came to this app immediately after losing a collective 3 hours to 2 failed attempts at an appointment on D.o.D. I was incredibly stressed out. As I wanted to make sure that I had recovered enough to return to work.
I was able to Meet with a provider in under an hour. Dr. Adediran actually listened to my medical concerns and gave a genuine assessment that I trust. I am so grateful to have found this app. Especially after the very negative experience I’d just had on the other app.

Horrible wait times
Waited over an hour and still no help. It kept saying the doctor would be with me soon and the doctor never came. Prior to this it cancelled a visit with another doctor stating they were no longer available.
The app itself is ok
My beef is with the Drs and the company behind the app.
I had a visit for an infection I am getting. Spoke with the Dr who was supposed to call in two prescriptions for me. I get off the phone with him and nothing comes to my inbox or pharmacy.
We call customer support. The first time the lady who helped was super nice and helpful. She escalated our problem. Said to give it an hour and call the pharmacy and if they didn’t have it to call back with the case number she gave us. Ok fair enough.
Hour goes by and nothing happens. We call back to customer support. This time we are met with a guy telling us to calm down and be patient (mind you we have one pharmacy here in this small town) despite it was getting later and was going to close. He escalated again and said we would get an email. No email. We call today and are met with a gentleman who was polite and wanted to help. He said our case was closed (with no notification to me) and that in their system my visit never happened because the Dr failed to put it in. He said this happens a lot. He said he could escalate it again but since they have no record there wasn’t really anything they could do.
So if this happens a lot the. Why is this company still working with drs who do this? This is unacceptable behavior for this type of service. Medications are a big deal. For some people it keeps them alive. Fortunately for me it’s just an antibiotic and an anti inflammatory but what if it wasn’t? This company needs to scrutinize the drs they partner with and figure out a way to verify visits without the dr having to turn in the paperwork.
I am going to have to try again and hope it gets sent this time and wait until Monday (called Friday Saturday now) to pick this stuff after work IF it actually gets sent this time.

The Amwell rep helped me access my account and offered to set up the appointment I needed. In little time, we were connected with a physician who reviewed symptoms and had a thorough treatment plan and instructions in short order. I am very grateful!
Excellent Care
I received prompt and efficient care for my UTI at 5:45 am and a script was sent to my nearby 24/7 pharmacy. Highly recommend. Also they accepted my insurance with no copay.
