Not bad but needs some bugs fixing

I’ve not long had my Andersen EV charger so still new to the app. My first observation in the app was how the toggle switches are distorted and drop outside the frames (which look like they’ve been hand drawn by a 7 year old) on my iPhone 17 Pro Max. Also, when I’m trying to add my Octopus energy tariff to the app, there’s only about 6 to choose from, whereas on price comparison sites, the drop down list shows Octopus have heaps of legacy tariffs, none of which are listed in the app. As a result I need to add my pricing manually, which you can’t do without selecting one of the tariffs 🤦‍♂️ Just my observations

Charger and app

Useless

Lost connection

Sadly it’s decided to go into stupid mode. It’s stuck on a WiFi setting even though I go into Bluetooth to edit Andersen A2 unit to my house hold WiFi goes through stand to within 2 metres and I get the unit name select my WiFi setting and then password it decides to revert to the WiFi I was trying to edit.
So I’ve left in stupid mode so I can’t use the times I’ve set up on cheap rate

Missing car

App is decent, gives a good overview of charging. Usability is good.

Only issue is it doesn’t recognise my car. I have the new Tesla Model Y and it says there are no models for this car, so the app needs to be updated to add these models.

Still terrible

Awful and unreliable app. Poor customer service who fail to call back or even email back. Ongoing issue for months and because they can’t seem to fix your issue they just ignore you. Absolutely woeful for a company that charges the most for their wallboxes.
Now my box seems to be losing WiFi connection even though there are no WiFi issues. It looks like I am going to have to throw the box away and use a different company.
