So helpful, genuinely excellent
I don’t have ASD as far as I know. But I do have (x diagnoses) I need to take care of. I’ve just started using this app but it’s already so helpful. I find the journaling feature and emotion cards helpful. I personally clicked on every (I) indicator I saw and pushed myself to read. It seems to be built on real therapeutic concepts. I noticed a change in myself reading, logging, and engaging with the tools. I’m really grateful 💗
I think the other review is a bit mean, I’d ignore that.

Transformative
My therapist recommended this app to me because I told him I was terrible at sensing and labeling my emotions. I’m so grateful he introduced me to this app, and I recommend it to people all the time. I started slowly, but I found that the more often I used it, the easier it became. But what really changed things was taking the embedded course. I’m only a third of the way through and it has honestly changed my life. I’m now better able to sense how I’m feeling and address it instead of spiraling or allowing my emotions to control my day. If more people learned how to do this early on in life, I think it would change everything. I can’t recommend this app enough.

Therapist recommended resource
My therapist recommended this to me for autistic/neurodivergent people and I have been using it for a year 👍🏼
!!!
the only time i have ever felt compelled to leave a review on the app store because it feels like this app was actually made for me. four stars because the videos lack closed captioning, but the app felt surprisingly easy to understand, and it's the only form of mood journaling i've been able to meaningfully do. i told my roommate about this app, i told my therapist about this app, i told my mom about this app, i can't shut up about how much it's helping me.

5 stars even with suggestions
I notice very little use of this app. Please get funding for an advertising campaign. It’s amazing. It really helps so much. Thank you.
Ok so suggestion:
After all those amazing processing prompts getting me to an amazing place at the end.. the historical record is of my first statement. If it can only be one I’d prefer access to the very last thing which tends to be so preciously helpful and a hard-fought win. The first statement tends to be the struggle one.. the last statement is the victorious take-away.
Thanks.

Great tool
I’ve found this really useful right away and am looking forward to seeing if it can help me understand what I am feeling more naturally over time. It’s been really intuitive to use, and so helpful to draw out precise words for emotions from the mapping exercises.
Great for understanding emotions
I've had this app for about 3 weeks, and my Alexithymia score is down from about 100 to 65 and I can definitely tell a massive difference in my understanding of my emotions. Lots of great features and overall an amazing app for tackling alexithymia. Thank you for making this app free and ad free!
Thank Goodness I Found This
This app is the best thing to ever happen to me, no joke. Without going into too much detail, I had a pretty rough childhood with lots of emotional neglect, among other things. I’ve been in and out of therapy and though it’s helped with a lot, figuring out how to connect my mind to my body in a safe way has not been the easiest process. When I learned about Alexithymia, I felt like I had finally found a loose thread that I could pull to unravel decades worth of things I couldn’t quite verbalize. That, alone, was a big help in my healing, but it was complete happen-chance that I found this app. I couldn’t be more grateful for all the work that’s gone into creating something so extremely beneficial like this! It’s so simple, yet so thorough. I can wax poetic about emotions all day, but actually sensing them physically and knowing what to do with that does not compute to my brain. The glossary and physical sensation sections have really helped increase my awareness with these things. I feel like I finally have a link between these parts of myself that I’ve been struggling to find my whole life! I’m so so happy to have this to rely on when I can’t make sense of anything going on with me, it’s the biggest relief ever. I’ve already shared it with several people in my life, and I hope more people find out about it because it’s a great way to learn/relearn emotions and healthy ways to embrace them. I’m so so thankful I found this!

Soothing
I use this personally, and as a psychologist with clients. I find the processing section really helpful and genuinely soothing
Wonderful app
I’ve always had a hard time identifying and describing my thoughts and emotions and this app has already been a huge help. It also has similar elements to coping exercises that my therapist has recommended to me (e.g., “RAIN”) so having a structured app for it is extremely helpful. Thank you so much for developing this. ❤️ Some suggestions I have are: (1) Subtitles for the videos; (2) some more guidance on the “process” exercise; I’ve read the tooltips but am still confused about what I’m supposed to do; (3) possibly an abbreviated version of the “process” exercise if possible, in addition to the current 10 minute one, since it can be difficult to work through it all before getting overwhelmed and giving up. Thank you again!!

Thank you.
I’m not sure if I’m on the spectrum or not, my evaluation is this month, not super relevant. I’m 19 and always been very moody but was bad at explaining what was up. Thank you for this app. If you’re reading this and confused, it’s worth a try. Not for everyone, but there’s some science here. Can’t say I get the science but psychology is in fact a science haha. My favorite feature is the list of emotions, which I think is comprehensive enough. But I wouldn’t mind an update with, perhaps ONE extra emotion, per update maybe, if you have the time 😅 no one in particular, just love all the vocab, hah. I wish the emotion compass and body sensations were more descriptive somehow (?), but they are very, very descriptive, so maybe that’s a me problem. My only issue is the pictures are rather, well, abstract. That’s one word for it lol, no judgement here, thank you. I do tend to copy others but I haven’t read the other reviews, this one is from the heart. A happy heart? A grateful heart? Good enough. Thank you. 💙💙💙💙 PS: editing this, at least on my version, the search function for the emotions list doesn’t work. That would definitely be helpful haha. Still so grateful 🩵 PS PS: I guess the Apple App Store loops all these paragraphs together. Oh well.

This app was a godsend
When I found this app I was like well won’t hurt to try. It has been so helpful in helping me recognize my emotions. Right now I am either feeling gratitude or appreciation (maybe satisfaction?). I got a ball park estimate of my feelings and I hope I can keep improving. It has helped me in my relationships and honestly mentally as well as I felt like I had some tool at my disposal. Want to thank the creators.

Really genuinely helpful
Thankyou for this, matching bodily sensations to situations is really helpful in figuring out what I am feeling.
Improved!
I tried it when the app was just in its beginning stages and it was interesting, but lacking.
Going back to use the app after not checking it for a few months and the features have improved immensely! So helpful for autistic individuals who struggle with identifying emotions and sensations

True Gift from Angelic Humans
Thank you so much for this app. It is changing my life, which is not a statement I throw around.
I found out recently I am alexithymic and neuro divergent. I did not know I wasn’t skilled at identifying my emotions. I certainly feel a lot of emotions, but to speak to what they are was/is almost impossible. I just thought everyone was this way.
Using this app has diverted several melt downs in the making. Can you believe that? I have worked to self regulate for years, but I have rarely, if ever, have caught a full blown melt down and redirected it into calm and peacefulness. Wow.
I’m so excited this is offered free to the public. This speaks volumes about this company’s efforts to give humanity the tools they need without gate keeping. Well done, amigo. Thank you so much.
Love, Emma

Best App Ever
I realized I had alexithymia a few months ago and had been using a journal to help me figure out my emotions and deal with them, which was literally life changing. This app has made the process easier and is so useful. I am often surprised at how accurately it can guess how I'm feeling based on the body sensations I input, and it helps me understand myself better. Thank you so much!!!

That was dumb
Im trying a second review cause it erased my first one.
This was not at all useful unless you are a 2yo learning basic emotions. Thought this was recommended to me I feel like it was a pointless waste of time.
It couldnt guess one emotion right… yes i said guess cause i could write emotions on a dart board and ge a more accurate reading.
If this does work for you can i suggest reading tea leaves next.

love it but too bright
i love this app so much, and i can tell so much thought went into this into making this genuinely helpful for neurodivergent folks like me. it’s so helpful for getting a handle on my emotions when i feel like i have no idea what i feel in the moment. i ESPECIALLY struggle with figuring out what my bodily sensations say about my emotional state, so i confuse different emotions at times with each other. but this app definitely helps with that.
however i just have one small complaint— i don’t see a setting to change the app to dark mode, and i would really appreciate that because the bright white really hurts my eyes.
